I always perfer to build to the biggest match,I know alot of folks don't agree with this way of booking and like to have cool down matches in between bigger match but again I like to build and keep building. Also always like to start the show off with a hot opener. So here's my ideal way for the card to go.
IC Title Ladder Match Diva's Tag Team Match Andre Battle Royal Randy Orton .Vs Seth Rollins Rusev .Vs John Cena The Undertaker .Vs Bray Wyatt Triple H .Vs Sting Brock Lesnar .Vs Roman Reigns

I just want Sting/HHH to go on after 'Taker/Wyatt. If we are gonna have the inevitable Undertaker vs Sting next year, I think it's best to plant the seeds following Sting's match this year.

Shouldn't it be dark for Sting's entrance too? I also feel hus debut is a bigger deal than anything to do with Taker/Wyatt.
I do agree it would be pretty lame if any Taker, Wyatt or Sting coming out in daylight. How long into Mania are we expecting darkness?

The worst possible thing would be to put Lesnar vs Reigns on last. Sting vs Triple H or Rusev vs Cena should 100% close the show Sting vs hhh would be great but the thought of cena winning and celebrating to end the show makes me feel ill, even rusev ending a mania feels weird dude.

IC title is absolutely opening the show. I'd say its a toss between Reigns/Lesnar & Sting/HHH to close. There will be a "buffer" in between the big matches because they always ing love to kill a crowd before another big match. I hate it. It's stupid. Keep the momentum going, put the great matches together, no one NEEDS to fall asleep for 15 minutes in between main events. Couldn't kill a crowd quicker if it's the IC ladder match, and Bryan loses. I can't see a specialty match being the opening contest despite having the hottest commodities in WWE right now.

Reigns vs Brock Lesnar
HOF inductees- (cool down going into the main event)
Triple H vs Sting
AJ and Paige vs Bellas (can either carry momentum from taker match or be a cool down going into Sting match)
Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt
John Cena vs Rusev (lengthy entrances)
Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins (gives time for Rollins to recover for a potential post main event cash in)
7 Man Ladder Match (perfect opener, if Bryan wins the crowd will be happy for the rest of the event)
Pre show: Tag titles

I do agree it would be pretty lame if any Taker, Wyatt or Sting coming out in daylight. How long into Mania are we expecting darkness? They're both unquestionably coming out in broad daylight. The sunset in Santa Clara is around 7:25pm, and the show will be over before 8pm. Assuming that Lesnar/Reigns is the main event, it'll probably be noticeably dark about halfway through their match. Just enough for some fireworks at the end. Though there is some speculation that WWE is working on a way to simulate darkness earlier in the event. How on earth they could do something like that is absolutely beyond me, it's likely just a garbage rumor. I have heard, however, that the electricity requirements for this year's event outweigh any they've had in recent years.

Don't put something depressing (like the streak ending) on before the main event again! That totally killed the crowd for a LONG time.

They might be able to sustain a complete BS chant or Daniel Bryan chant throughout the entire event. Bookend the event with Bryan losing, and Reigns winning, and I'm sure the night after Wrestlemania will be "ruined"

What I'd guess: IC title match Seth vs Orton Women's match Cena vs Rusev Sting vs HHH Andre Battle Royal Taker vs Wyatt Lesnar vs Reigns I'm thinking almost the same thing, just a little different: IC Title Match Seth vs Orton Women's Match Andre Battle Royal Sting vs HHH Cena vs Rusev Taker vs Wyatt Lesnar vs Reigns

Specialty matches have opened WrestleMania before. 23 and 25 were both opened by Money in the Bank ladder matches if my memory is correct.

im just saying, in the normal...they like to open wrestlemania with something great
the ladder match makes sense. its most likely going to be the best match of the night so the WWE's mindset is get it out of the way quick so the "real" stars can play. because great wrestling only matters to them when they are trying to promote something else.

The TLC matches weren't first so hopefully this one won't be. I have a feeling it will be to get the fans over Bryan losing to Sheamoose.

It finishes at 4am here so safe to say it'll be dark here lol. The simulating darkness melted my brain though. How is that even possible
