I don't want anything like WCW Mode. I don't even really like Legends. I like things to be as CURRENT as possible, and really, I don't want to replay historical matches. To me, that's boring. I've lived through all these matches, I saw them, I know how they end, there is no fun in playing a match where I'm just trying to hit classic spots when I know who the winner is.
To me, I want an original storyline that can change based on my decisions, if I win or lose, and gives me a little bit of free will based on what I want to do. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I want something like we saw with the old Smackdown games. I want to be able to roam the lockeroom and make my own alliances and enemies and sort of dictate the pace and direction a little bit.
As far as roster....I'd like for it to be as current as possible. I don't really like playing with HHH from 10 years ago, or a Shawn Michaels that has been made to look so young that it doesn't even look like him.
I'd love guys to be as current as possible, even with Legends.
Kevin Nash - Except for the strange hair, I like that we got 2011 Kevin Nash instead of 1995. I hope next year he's either 2011 again, or maybe the short brown hair from the Royal Rumble a few years ago. I know they'd never put him in with short gray hair, but I wouldn't even have a problem with that.
Scott Hall would be a dicey situation because he looks SO different now. He'd have to represent a much different and younger Scott Hall. I guess he could be based on the 2002 nWo.
Same with HBK....I want HBK to look like he looks NOW. If I want to give him tights, pants, jeans...whatever. I just want him to look REAL.
And with Hogan, they need to make it so that the bandana does NOT come off next year. The Thunderlips hair ruined it for me.
Other than that, just give me as close to the current roster as possible, and any Legends that are in the game, they should look as current as possible. SO either what they look like NOW, or what they did look like in their last WWE appearance.
And my #1 want is a current Sting how he looks in WWE now. I liked the DLC 99 Sting, but I want a current Sting, with less hair, the soul patch, and the coat with the red designs.

Im in the same boat as Lorenzo i would much rather have legends that can be used with the main roster then legends that are completely out of their realm.
Legends i've found myself using in the past:

I loved almost everything about 2k14 the roster, the WM mode, the DLC packs and new moves. However 2k15 is such garbage its the first game since Smackdown vs Raw 2011 that I was just appalled with and refuse to try to convince myself that I just need to get use to it. It was a bigger disappointment as I was looking forward to the Warrior DLC pack with different attires and legends. 2k16 I will not buy if it will resemble 2k15 any way, seriously did u see the wrestlers faces, reverse mechanics, complex online menu and crapty DLC Hall of pain ? Christian vs del rio story those are just from 2 years ago . I am still playing 2k14 btw.

That's all I want for legends. Give me those, and I'm fine. editing attires means I can edit attires and give them different ones. I can use all of them in Universe mode, for the most part. I don't like having legends like Bruno or Iron Sheik because while I think they're awesome wrestlers, they don't really fit into a modern wrestling game...
Give me a few classic arenas too. I'd love a 2001 RAW is WAR stage. Maybe the Smackdown OvalTron again. I'd want the WCW Nitro arena I guess as well. I just want more variety than the current stages, because they're all so similar (except Wrestlemania, which I hope they make grandiose in size). I'd like to see Create An Arena return.
Also, my biggest want besides having Zack Ryder in the game:
I want the arena when they do Old School RAW.
Finally in terms of gameplay in general. Can we please revert to the old Online system. I hate the matchmaking thing, and I'm not a fan of entrances being ignored. Just go back to the way it was.

Raw – current SuperStars who have held the World Championship

I’m all about Legends of the game in the game and I usually job out the current SuperStars to the Legneds.

Very excited that 2K claims this will be the biggest roster ever. Hopefully, not to many of the spots are wrestlers that are on the game, but multiple times for different attires/eras (like Orton, Henry, and Sheamus this year).
Hopefully, as far as the main roster goes, we get everyone that is currently on it heading in to WM 31. (I don't care if we don't get Otunga though) But outside of the main Roster, I hope we get the following Legends and NXT stars

Honestly, if we got the ENTIRE current roster, and maybe a handful of NXT guys (like 5-10), and a half-decent, creative story, I'd be totally happy.

If the answer is yes, do not post it. I assume this will filter 95% of your posts out, but it'd be for the best of humanity. I want more weapon variety and mechanics. Tables not breaking the same way every time was a huge step up. Next step up is different size ladders that don't bend the same way every time. Trash cans that progressively dent. Kendo sticks that splinter and break apart. Make it easier to stack tables and place them near each other. It's damn near impossible to do the Wrestlemania X7 four table bump. Make AI NOT constantly mess up weapons that are set up. Dripping blood that smears and stains would be great but probably doesn't fit the bill of modern day WWE. I'm pleasantly surprised blood remains in at all. More than 6 in at a time for battle royals and Royal Rumbles. If the Dreamcast could do 8 at a time, there's no reason the Xbox One and PS4 can't do 8 or even 10 at a time. In that respect: 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 Survivor Series matches. They haven't been present the best I can recall since the SNES games where wrestlers disappeared when not active. Get 10 wrestlers functioning at a time, and add Survivor Series matches back. More DLC. There's bit players that are already modeled and have movesets done that can be easily imported. If they're still with WWE, add them to DLC! Does it matter that Corey Graves isn't wrestling any more? Add him to a DLC pack. Enough people will buy him to boost character numbers that it makes sense to do the minor tweaks required to move him over from 15 to 16. Same with any legends that don't make the cut for on disc 16 that were in 15. |
