What significance does the star have for next year?
Simply because it's in Texas?

What significance does the star have for next year? Simply because it's in Texas? Isn't Texas the lone star state? makes sense to me, although I cant see how they're going to carry the theme onwards after WM32...

What significance does the star have for next year? Simply because it's in Texas? It's a blue and white star, and it looks exactly like the Dallas Cowboys logo. AT&T Stadium is the home of the Cowboys.

If they're sticking with these symbols, how did they go from something so random as a play button to something so blatant?

I assumed it was a play button because it was at Levi's Stadium in Silicon Valley, next to all the headquarters of big tech companies like Facebook and Google. And the stadium itself is noteworthy for its technology. It has its own wireless network and app available to fans to order food. Seemed pretty logical to me.

Couldn't have put it any other way, to be honest.

I just assumed it was in reference to the Network.

I just assumed it was in reference to the Network. I did too. After announcing the subscribers, and especially with Sting's first match, Taker returning, and unbeknownst to us, the Rollins cash in. WWE knew it would be massive.

Play button is still stupid as a replacement for the number of the event. The star is fine but there should be a 32 in there somewhere.

People need to come to terms with the fact WWE knows what they are doing. They aren't just throwing random shapes into their WM logo for poops n giggles.

On the network, it had the Network Exclusive show on the WM 32 revealing and even though the logo had the star, the description said WrestleMania 32

Just cause they add a star doesn't mean it's not WM32. They just don't wanna have 7 roman numerals in a logo.

The star looks really cool in the logo. Besides, when people asked you what you were doing last Sunday, did we say we're watching WrestleMania? Or WrestleMania 31?

I would have thought the nearby tech companies tie in was rather obvious.

What significance does the star have for next year? Simply because it's in Texas? Yes. For example, WrestleMania 25. There was clearly a big Network push prior to Mania like last year, most of us watched the show on the Networks streaming service instead of paying for it on PPV. Hence the play button! Case closed.
