I find it hard to believe that Cena is specifically using his springboard stunner to "infuriate" Austin. If this is the case, I'm with Austin. Especially with the comments regarding his podcast questions on the Network.

Good on him. No need to come back if he doesn't want to.

Interesting, I'm sure it was either going to be against HHH or Bryan. Either way, they've lost a big seller for 100k.
Looks like they really need Austin and Rock now. Austin vs. Cena.

Good for him. He seems to be enjoying retirement.

Where'd he say no? All I see is "I've enjoyed being retired "

Good, the only way I want to see HBK is in the form of an elite figure.

Retirement does not exist in pro wrestling so Shawn has every right to wrestle again if he wants to as long as his body can take it.
However I would like him to have 1 more match because I always thought his last match with Undertaker was terrible.

Get ready for another WrestleMania filled with part-timers. HBK will be 50 at WrestleMania 32. Cant the WWE create new WrestleMania headliners?

I'd rather see HBK stay retired, and by retired I mean not appearing at Wrestlemania nearly every year in Triple H's match.

I always thought he'd stay gone after he retired. I mean he could probably come back and still be better than 90% of the roster, but the way he went out was perfect and I think he'll stick to his word. If he does come back, cool.

If Shawn Michaels isn't going to wrestle, and they can't talk Austin into wrestling either, I don't think they stand a chance to get 100k people at WM32. You would need: Sting vs. Undertaker Austin vs. Hogan Rock vs. Triple H Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie Shawn Michaels vs. Daniel Bryan? I think with those names and those match ups, you might stand a chance. But if HBK won't do it and Austin says no and then legally if you can't get Ronda Rousey.....no way they get 100K. This. They can't get HBK they better be kissin' Austin's ass. Austin vs. Cena may get the 100k...maybe

Shawn Michaels is my favorite of all time but, quite honestly, I'm glad he isn't going for another match. He left having two of the best matches of his career back to back years at WrestleMania, why tarnish that?

He had a great send off & has nothing to prove. But, the diehard HBK fan inside of me would mark the F out if I got to see him wrestle one more time in person

I always felt like HBK would honor his word and stay retired also.

Found this quite surprising, and it only makes me think they haven't got Austin and are trying to source something else up. Not sure what they had in mind though, possibly Shawn Michaels vs Daniel Bryan or Shawn Michaels vs Triple H. I don't think he should return though, although I genuinely believe Austin should do. It will be the defining moment and payday on a scale even he has never had.

Shawn might just make an appearance at 32 like how he super kicked Sting. HBK in every interview I've listen to so far has said on the record that he's happily retired.
Regarding Stone Cold. He's still in bad shape I believe. The man's been retired for 12 years. I think his heart wants to continue to wrestle, but his body can't. It would be nice to see him as a special guest reff in a match.

Shawn returned after that back injury for a series of matches with Triple H, he ended up staying for nearly a decade... I dont know if WWE we persuasive or Shawn genuinely wanted to stay. But I can see why he would want to enjoy his retirement, he's lucky he made his name when he was young, got to spend the later years of his youth enjoying life before coming back to a legends welcome, didn't even have to hold the world title to steal the show, now he's happily retired with good enough health to enjoy bringing up his kids, who I believe are still quite young. Shawns done it all and doesn't need anything else from WWE, unless its Shawn doing something for fun.
