How is this game? Is it an online multiplayer only game or can you play single player? Game is awesome! There isn't a campaign, but there are offline missions you can do.

I sold this game already. What a huge disappointment it turned out to be.

I am hoping that PS4 becomes backwards compatible, so I can sell off my PS3. But honestly, Battlefront was the reason I got a PS4. THe missions were a huge let down, but as soon as I got the PS+ Account, the online is so much fun. I am planning on ordering the season pass before the month is over and I cannot wait to see what they add on! Honestly, I think if I could only keep 1 system and 1 game, it would be my PS4 and this game. It really is better than I originally thought it was and now that I have the online account, it is that much more fun.

Some free DLC came out today. There was new skins for Luke and Han (their Hoth outfits from Episode 5) and a new Tatooine map, as well as the ability to host private matches. EA also announced the DLC for the rest of the year, so it looks like we're gonna get a Cloud City map, a Jabba's Palace map, and a Death Star map. Pretty damn cool.

Yeah definitely thrilled with this game. Best game I've played in a very long time. New maps are going to be awesome. So far, my favorite online match seems to be Walker Assault. Just love everything about it.

I haven't looked into getting platinum for a game in a while, but I think Battlefront is gonna change that. The trophies are relatively easy, so I just need to put the time in (which I literally have none) and get that platinum.

So there are missions you can do on this game as a single player?? Can you use DLC, or be characters like Vader or Luke in these single player missions?? Also, do the missions as a single player feel fun to play again and again? I really want this game, but I don't play online, so I just wondered if it was a game that was enjoyable for a single player. I LOVE Star Wars, and loved the old Battlefront games, but wanted to ask you guys on here before I bought it, if it was worth having for someone who would mostly want to play it by themselves. Hopefully the next Battlefront offers a single player campaign again like the older games.

Hopefully the next Battlefront offers a single player campaign again like the older games. There are 3 different sets on single player. First is Training. You have 15 stars you can collect. Pretty much basics. Here's how to fly a ship, here's how to shoot, etc. Stars are collected by beating time limits and such. Second is Battles. There are 8 total. 4 regular (Hoth, Sullust, Tatooine and Endor). This you play as a trooper and use different types of weapons. There are 5 stars per level. Beat on Easy, Beat on Hard, Beat on Master, Collect all 5 Collectibles and Beat on Master without letting the team score more than 40 points. This you kill enemies and pick up tokens they drop. First to 100 points wins. The other 4 are the same maps, same challenges. Only difference is you can play as one of the heroes. Total of 40 Stars. Third is Survival. You play as a rebel soldier and have to survive through 15 waves of Imperial troops, each one harder than the next. So far, 6 maps are available: Tatooine (Canyons), Sullust, Endor, Hoth (Echo Base), Hoth (Ice Caves) and Tatooine (Rebel Depot). 5 stars per level here as well. Collect all 5 collectibles, Beat on Easy, Beat on Hard, Beat on Master, Beat on Hard without dying. Total of 30 Stars. These can all keep you busy, but really once you complete all and get all of the stars, you really just use these to build up your skills for online. Online has levels like Walker Assault (3 waves of chances to take down ATAT Walkers), Blast (online version of Battles, without tokens), Hero Battles (Online version of Hero Battles on Single), and a few others where you fly ships, keep droids safe, etc.

Is anyone still playing this? Played some free trial on PC because I wanted to try my new PC. Was smooth as a babies ass. Loved it. But, the playerbase seems abit... Dead?
