Just a quick question what are your thoughts. If you dont care or dont have any thought you do not have to post in the topic.
I repeat if you do not care or have any thought you are not forced to post in the topic.

I'm currently working on an Elite custom, but before that I was just using an old RA figure of him. The scale wasn't great, but it did the job.

I can see this going south real quick. But to answer the question any of his R3 figures are close enough to fit scale wise. But you best bet is the Jakks Havock Unleased head on a Mattel Swagger/Mr Perfect body with shorter calves.

I was just looking at a Swagger and Angle from Deluxe TNA on Ebay. If I buy both of them they would be like 19-21 bucks without shipping but close to 40 with. Two different sellers.
I got a question I am not a expert on the figures which shorter calves should I use if I would to try and make this happen.

The TNA Toy Biz head is good, but that body is horrible. To bad the second Angle figure never got released from Toy Biz.
I think people use Cody's or Finlay's calves, but I would ask in the fixup thread. Also stay away from Jakks deluxe this heads are all to large for Mattel figure.

If you don't want to make a custom, get a TNA Toybiz Angle or an R3 Tech Angle.
If you are ok with making customs, get a Jakks angle head and get a Wrestlemania 26 Elite Jack Swagger and put the Angle head on the Swagger body.

If you want a bald Angle, the Havok Unleashed head is the only thing that won't look oversized next to a Mattel. The only problem is that you will have to swap it because Havok figures have those late era bone-cruncher bodies which look like total crap.
If you don't mind short haired Angle, then R3. And if you don't mind chunky looking joints the Toybiz TNA Angle is a good scan and decent scale match.

I do think we'll get a few Mattel Kurt Angle's eventually... he's said he's only wrestling 1 more year, 2 max - so Mattel will still have the WWE contract by the time he retires...

R3. I switched one of the hair scans with a bald one years ago, so it's doable. The best ones to use would be either the one that came with the Razor's Edge 3 pack or the Uncovered one

I just use the TNA Toybiz. It's a little short and the body is kinda awkward in the upper torso area....but it's bette than Jakks r3 with the knee joint where the shin should be, or the RA/DA figs with muscles the size of Scott Steiner.
I'm sure before it's all said and done that we will end up with Mattel Kurt Angle figures. He wanted to come back to WWE and they wouldn't have him. SO I'm sure when he retires from wrestling with TNA he will sign a merchendise deal with WWE. WWE wants to make MONEY off Kurt Angle, not have him die in their ring or go back to being addicted to pain killers, getting DUI's, or beating up his gf's.
