Game took forever to develop and probably no room for those guys.
Hell, the game came out in 1998 and had a roster that was about a year old.
I am pissed Vader didn't make the cut though.

LOD also weren't in the Attitude game and they definitely could have been. Oh well, at least we had the original, old school CAW in those games.

Yeah the development time is the key here. This game was being worked on the same time WWF In Your House was! I remember when it was released me an a few buddies had all these ideas about how huge the roster was going to be. While the roster was outdated it was cool to have Bret Hart, Bulldog and Ahmed Johnson in it.

Kane only made the cut because he was a pallet swap for Undertaker.
The real confusing one is how The Headbangers made the cut.

Just to clear things up before I receive backlash from the mods, I'm not topping an old thread because it's still on the first page but I forgot that I'd even made this thread but I was just reminded as I was watching WWF Badd Blood In Your House. I don't think Kane was a simple pallet swap because he had his own chants, rants, and taunts. Also, I agree wholeheartedly with why the hell did they put those sh*theadbangers in over LOD? It would've been nice to have Vader and Sid in the game instead of Cactus Jack and Dude Love too.

I know the War Zone game was the 1st game I'd ever seen the CAW concept on and me and my brother were shocked when we heard about it in the Game Pro magazine sometime in late '97 i remember seeing Austin stunning Michaels with his knee brace on and Shawn with his green DX attire and I was amazed by the 3D graphics. I think I was only in the 4th grade at the time.

I never heard that before, I know they used Raw Is War music in the 1996 Acclaim IYH game, so I suppose it makes sense.

Having those creative tools at our disposal was awesome. Now I mostly just download CAWs because they are better than the ones I can make, but I still will mess around a little bit. We didn't have that option with the Acclaim games so it was all on us.

Hi, it was in an issue of WWE magazine from 1997 it was red and had undertaker on the cover, but there was also a magazine that had them showing how they made in your house and in that preview they mentioned they were working on a 3D engine for the next WWE game.

It was the first WWE Video Game to have a CAW Mode, but Super Fire Pro Wrestling 3 was the very first Wrestling game to have a CAW Mode I believe.

Kane only made the cut because he was a pallet swap for Undertaker. He wasn't. This has to be because when the roster choices were made, WWF thought the Headbangers were going to be the big thing in wrestling. I remember them being promoted incredibly hard when they first came in, but by the time the game was done, the plan to push them had long been abandoned.
