I just felt the need to sincerely thank Bill and the rest of matteldesignteam for everything they've done, but particularly their recent work...
The overall quality has been absolutely killing it as of late, and you guys are legitimately on a roll. Honestly, since Christmas time my collection hasn't been better. Between the New Age Outlaws BP, DM Hogan, DM Razor, JYD, Doink, Hall of Fame Slaughter and Warrior and most recently, every single one from BP 34, Earthquake and the Ringside Shawn Michaels...it's just been an absolute blast collecting these great figures.
Sure we all quarrel from time to time on these boards, but I think we can all agree...there has NEVER been a better time to be a wrestling figure collector. I know I'm personally excited for HOF series 2, 4 Horseman set, current elite Ambrose, Sting, Stardust and Steph to name a few.
So call it butt kissing if you must, but once again, thank you guys for producing quality, but most importantly, FUN figures that I look forward to collecting

Great figures for sure just wished the finishing got better. To many paint botches in the final production runs.

They give the fans what they want. You can't argue with that. Maybe not as soon as we would like but this line has turned out real nice I think.

Not enough of these threads. Mattel's WWE team has been doing great work. As great as this year has been, I'm looking forward to what they do in 2016.

Fully agree. This line is so loaded with talent right now, and some faces that many said we would never see. For all the criticism we give, it is also important to give credit where it's due. This is the line I always wished I had as a kid.

yeah its been a real blast mattel must be given props lately, they've been rippin thru some top figs since end of last year.. ive been collecting since early 2014. around elite 24ish time. used to collect as a youth w/ my brotha. always say glad i walked in on this at the time i did. rite before the new corp logo came out. u grab a few older ones n let mattel pump out the new stuff monthly. i get basics, bps, and elites.. straight MOC jack. flashbacks, legends, n the top current roster guys (love the divas too). maybe somn loose once n a while. like some1 said nows the best time for this. i used to love mattel for hot wheels as an 80s kid. now it's wwf/wwe. they'll always rock as a toy brand to me.

While I get cranky from time to time, it's true that Mattel is giving us a better product than we've ever had before.
The WM14 HBK comes to mind for me.
Be happy knowing that most of our criticism is based on price and slight quality control/choice issues.
That is a real testament to the success of the brand from the cynical collector community. Nice work!

MDT does a hell of a job.
It's in the factory where these figures suffer. The constant paint errors, the legs being warped by the figure position in the boxes, the loose joints......
I've had a bunch of figures recently with chips, lines, or other imprints into the face/head almost as if the plastic wasn't poured properly when they piece was made.
So yeah, Bill and the rest of the MDT are listening to us and trying to make our dreams come true....it's the crappy factory work that is making these figures come out not as intended.

MDT do INCREDIBLE work. I stopped collecting for nearly 3 years, and then one day, I saw E10 Kane and was stunned at how good it looked. Bought it, began collecting again and never looked back. Thank you Bill, and everybody at the MattelDesignTeam!

As a legends collector, I've been really impressed with what we've gotten since the WM30 Elite Bret and HBK. Excellent character choices and mostly the most iconic looks chosen (Barry Windham looking at you...) and the best part is there's still so much for Mattel to do, but it's already become in my eyes the best wrestling figure collection ever.
In a few more years Mattel will catch up to Jakks character depth, but with greater emphasis on tag teams it just seems like a matter of time now.

Here, here! They have been my addiction for five years running. So many great figures and much fewer misses over the past few years.

In a few more years Mattel will catch up to Jakks character depth, but with greater emphasis on tag teams it just seems like a matter of time now. They have done a great job with tag teams. We got the Uso's, the Sheild, EL Matador's, Wyatt's, New Age Outlaws, Cody and Goldie. There are just not that many decent tag teams right now. You can see they are trying to give us what we want. If we all keep asking for old tag teams, like the Horsemen, then if they can make it happen with contracts and the like, they will. That has been the best part this past year, they want to know and try to give us what we want. I started collecting just over a year ago and there has yet to be a set where there was not at least 2 -3 guys I wanted, usually more. Heck, we're getting NXT people now. It's just been a great ride and i hope it continues. From the way it looks so fat, it will.

Was just at Walmart last night, and put of the 5 B48 hogans they had, 4 had this weird crust on the head sculpt
