I preferred IMAX 3D to 2D, personally.

I have to watch everything in 2D. Due to an injury sustained in a car crash I cant actually see 3D effects!!! That sucks dude. I am curious did people see it in 3D or not? I wanted to see it in 3D initially but my brother hates it since it hurts his eyes so I let him have his way.. It ended up being okay though because a site I always check to see if I should see a movie in 3D rated it low like (25/35 overall) so I didn't really care much after I read that. So for those who did see it in 3D were you happy you paid extra to see it that way? And for people who have seen it twice was it both in 3D, both in 2D, or one in each version (IMAX 3D would be its own category as well I suppose)? I've watched it in 3D and 2D, 3D against choice though, and I definitely preferred 2D. Cool thanks for answering my question (goes to everyone else too).

I strongly dislike 3D movies. Maybe it's the theater I go to, but the glasses are awkward and annoying.

Apparently Joss Whedon claims that Marvel knew they were going to have the Spider-Man rights before he wrapped filming on A2, and he was left in the dark about the negotiations.. Even though he was extremely vocal about including Spider-Man in a small capacity at the end of A2.
He was also told that 'there are no plans for Captain Marvel' when he was writing the script.. And during the filming of A2, the announcement came that they are planning a Captain Marvel movie.
Joss is all but burning an actual bridge.

I've read those interviews too-he seems really pissed but kinda contradicts himself. He gives it loads about MS interfering(I sympathise we all know they do like crazy) BUT he seems to have won 70% of his battles? no? Surely Whedon(who participated in interference himself with Phase II stuff) knew this was the nature of the beast within a franchise that contains SO MUCH cross pollination? Also.....where on Earth or what capacity would he have featured Danvers? And I really don't know what to make of his Spidey story.....Marvel have wanted him for so long. What could their motivations possibly be for concealing him from Whedon? Or delaying the announcement that they had him? Then he had to be cast etc etc.....on top of that Feige and co were looking to see what kind of Spidey he was gonna be. Doesn't make that much sense to me lads... I'm not actually taking sides here(LOVE Whedon and hope he gets a SW gig) but a lot of this boggles the effin mind. Seems Whedon is doing heaps of venting now he's done with them. Started before AOU came out actually..... Seems only time will tell......

Saw it yesterday. Really good, but not on par with the first one.
I enjoyed everything except the Hulk/Widow love story and I wasn't very impressed with the Vision.

Saw this movie on opening night when it came out and I will say hands down best movie of 2015 by far bar none with Furious 7 coming in a close second but as far as Marvel movies go this even surpasses Winter Soldier and GOTG but miles better than the first Avengers film

Got around to seeing Age of Ultron yesterday, and I wanted to share my review from my website.

Ah the anti MCU crowd are priceless.....really and truly. Hers a breakdown of their main complaints and where AOU "fails"
1) Why the did Avengers reform.....its like they just came out of nowhere. Hardly a crippler fopr the movie but covered in AOS.
2) Why is Stark still Iron Man? After IM3 He is done he has nothing. I strongly suggest people watch IM3 again. Stark never says he is done and I don't know where folks get the idea from that he has "nothing". Its all in his refinement of Extremis.
3) Why isn't Rhodes Iron Patriot anymore? Who knows but more importantly who the f*ck cares. Maybe Rhodes decided the IP color scheme/name was lame as Stark suggested?
oh the things people moan about......LOL.
