I also think the small, smart crowd plays into the enjoyment as well. It's WWE quality with an indie-sized crowd of actual wrestling fans. Not as many kids and moms. These are our people and they like what we like, so that's what Triple H gives them.

NXT provides us with what the main roster fails to. Great matches, exciting characters that you can actually get behind, compelling stories and a competent women's division. It's only an hour long so it doesn't feel like a chore to watch. Specials happen quarterly rather than monthly so big events actually feel important and aren't treated like throwaway shows. This. Exactly this.

Take the expression "Familiarity breeds contempt", and apply it to the WWE. Now take the inverse of that expression, and you have the NXT love.
The WWE main roster programming is the song you liked until the local Top 40 station started playing it 100 times a day. NXT is that song you like that only gets played every once in awhile, and when you hear it, you crank up the stereo.

NXT to me bring out more of the sport of professional wrestling. It's not over produced. Its simple and too the point. The talent there is great. Sure, there are some hiccups every now and then, but I would honestly rather watch NXT over RAW, AND I DO.
Blue Pants has a name, however, Big Cass and Enzo started calling her that and the fans took to it like crazy. Even the fan base is different. It is more of your hardcore fans, the ones that have been waiting for the product to get better and now they are seeing hope.

It's fun. It's not overly long or complicated. It has 'better' commentators than the other 'things' on the main roster. It has a simplistic format that benefits us as viewers. ... I'm not claiming it to be the greatest wrestling promotion ever, but as a part of the WWE, to me it's certainly the best thing going right now. This.

While I don't think NXT is always as great as a lot of people online make it out to be, it is still my favorite wrestling show that I watch on a weekly basis, and there's plenty of reasons for that. many of which have already been discussed.
-It's concise, and to the point. There's rarely any fluff -I can trust that, if I'm seeing something, I'm seeing it for a reason -Stories usually have a beginning, a middle, and an end -Characters are given time to develop and grow, and talent is very clearly given liberties with their personas -I can enjoy women's wrestling for the first time ever in my 16 years as a wrestling fan. The NXT girls are as important as the guys, and it doesn't feel forced -I can get behind almost everyone on the roster in some fashion. If they don't have the skills, they have the look. If they don't have the look, they might have the character. -Perhaps most importantly, things make sense. What a breath of fresh air it is to see wrestling booked with some logic behind it.
Plus, it gives me some hope that WWE can someday return to storytelling that made me such a fan in the first place. After all, this is all happening under their roof.
So, for me, that's it. Watching NXT usually gets me out of the weekly wrestling funk Raw puts me in.

The episodes sinceR-Evolution have lacked imo. Idk exactly what r lacks. But it definitely isn't the golden days like nevilles reign. Watch the episodes from back then and you'll see what I mean

No need to fix what isn't broken. And Bull only lasted a couple weeks. I meant currently, the people who are always on NXT. And Alex is doing fine. He hasn't been bad, but he's been worse than the people I crossed out. Charlotte has been fantastic especially since she's only been wrestling a short time. Sasha Banks is the best all around female performer in the entire company. Meanwhile, the Vaudevillains are a solid tag team. The only thing people like about Charlotte, whether they realize it or not, is she's Ric Flair's daughter. She's really not that great. Sasha is okay at best with a terrible gimmick and catchphrase, horribly outdated. Aiden was great on his own, when they added Simon with him, it ruined it. It's so clear to me Simon still doesn't know what he's doing and he just tries to mirror Aiden.

I thought I liked Charlotte because she's developing her in ring skills very quickly, but obviously I'm wrong. Sashas gimmick is fine and she plays it well while outperforming every diva in the company. You cannot tell people why they like who they like. That's just being straight up ignorant and annoying.

It's a quality wrestling program. There's no extreme amounts of recaps or promotion the viewers don't want to see, and most importantly, the talent is great.

Sasha being okay is your opinion which is fine and same for the Vaudevillains. Just don't try and tell me what I like about charlotte. I dislike her lineage most.

She's certainly better than Rosa, Cameron, Naomi, Dana, Carmella, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox and Summer Rae. Over the past few months she's had better matches than literally every other diva in the company including Paige, Natalya, AJ and Nikki Bella. But hey, your opinion.

Then what about her qualifies her as this great woman's wrestler everyone makes her out to be? Her in ring work and gimmick is far from the NXT divas like; Bayley, Becky, Emma, I mean, hell, even Alexa is more entertaining.

I like NXT over WWE for the same reasons I preferred the NWA over the WWF in the 80's.

How good you are and what the company does with you are two different things. That's like saying in 2009 John Cena was a better wrestler than Daniel Bryan.

So you're saying her having better matches than everyone else is because the company booked it that way? What? That makes no sense. She outperforms, in the ring, every diva in the company right now is my point. How you managed to make that connection to Cena and Bryan is beyond me, but pretty funny.
