I once cherished my collection, now it's in a big bin, I don't know if I should sell them, wrestling and the action figures have been a huge part of my life, and I would surely have regret, any words of adivce? Don't man. It's Probably a phase. You'll get back into it eventually.

Take a break but do not, absolutely not, sell them yet. See how you feel in a month, or two, or even three. Take your time, however much you need to see if you are ready to part. I started to sell my collection off in a massive wave. I sold about fifteen pieces and regret every single one. I de-listed what I had done and set everyone back on the shelf. I still believe I will cull the herd, but it won't be as drastic as what I was about to do. The mistake it could have turned out to be!

I once heard Warrior tell someone that a man should never ask another's advice, as he already knows the answer, which lies within him. That said, MY OPINION IS that I would just box them up and put them in storage for now. Maybe one day down the road, I would want to pull them out and enjoy some nostalgia. The figs might bring you, er... me some enjoyment a SECOND time.

I have a different take on it. I would go through them and pick out the ones that you feel pretty "meh" about and sell them. Keep the ones that you're really fond of and then just keep your eyes out for similar figures to pick up. I'm of the opinion that sometimes our enthusiasm for collecting can make our collections a little bloated and less special.
If you insist on packing them up, please take special care in how you do it. Don't just throw them in a "bin" because the limbs can get warped over time, which will hurt their value and make those figures less special to you.

i never understood how a new punk makes you not care about the old one. or barrett, cena, ziggler, whoever. why cant you have two that are both awesome?
but for me, its e25 ambrose. i bought it from amazon. saw it once in retail and passed to get rollins instead. never saw it again. finally got it, and kept it boxed with rollins and reigns. when i opened them over a year later....its a ******* basic!!!! i got got. dont care for that figure at all now.

Honestly... every single wrestling figure IN my collection right now. Let's be honest, we see the images for the next elite line coming out, we get excited to get 1, or 2, or maybe the entire line! We wait, and wait, and wait... then Ringside Collectibles says "your shipment has been sent out" so you get all excited. And you wait, and wait... and then the box comes in the mail. We open it up.... there they are!! The figures we so badly wanted, craved and were excited for. Then we go to the Ringside Collectibles website and see what the next line is and we get excited all over again, as those new figures you just got sit in a shelf collecting dust and never really looked at thoroughly again until a new figure comes in and we have to put it on the shelf. But that is the joy of collecting! Always something new to come out to replace the excitement we had for another figure. THIS!

Definitely the first basic Melina.. I could never find a Jakks Melina figure so when I found the Mattel one I cherished it so much. Then she got released and I stopped playing with it :/

Maybe check out Ikea's display unit. They'd look sweet in that. Maybe get rid of what you don't want to fund it and keep the ones you do want. Hard to find them again if you did want to get back into collecting

My Jakks RA and CS figures lost most of their appeal once Mattel's Legends and Flashbacks got rolling.

My Jakks DA DX set. I think the rarity of it by the time I wanted one falsely made me think it was the best thing going. In reality, not so much. It just hangs on my wall and I forget I even have it.

Interesting thread. I don't purchase a lot of figures, maybe 1 every few months. Everything in my collection I cherish. There are figures that don't get as much shine anymore, DM Flair for example, but he still has a purpose in my display.

Flashback Edge, Flashback Mankind, and Flashback Kane. I love the figures, but there aren't very many figures released from that time period for them to play with.
