Awesome game. I'm Level 27 so far yet haven't done much of the main quest at all. Piper isn't actually that useful but is one of my all time favourite Fallout companions regardless. Very well fleshed out & (minor spoilers in white, not related to main quest) the fact you can romance her is great IMO. She feels like a great fit for the Sole Survivor and I enjoyed building a relationship with her, especially in light of the unresolved Amata/Lone Wanderer love story. In terms of other companions (spoilers for some companions in white) Danse is a beast. Valentine is a lot of fun to have around. Preston was decent but he always seemed to get in the way. Dogmeat is loveable but I wouldn't use him as my only companion; wish it was like F3 where it was Dogmeat + 1 other. Used Codsworth a bit and he's fun, but I just like having Piper around. Got Macready at Sanctuary Hills but haven't used him yet.I also love the tiny details, like (spoilers for opening 20 minutes of the game in white) when I took Piper down to Vault 111 to pick up the Cryolator and on the way looked at my wife's pod. She commented on it, saying "Oh my God - is that who I think it is? Are you ok?" Was really nice that she reacted to that even though it wasn't a scripted scene or even a quest.Anyone faced a Mirelurk Queen yet? Definitely the hardest enemy I've faced so far. I used a lot of grenades and a lot of patience to win that fight.I also owe my GF big time, as she's sat patiently watching me play this for God knows how many hours already. Taking Independence. I don't wanna talk about it.

Taking Independence. I don't wanna talk about it. Took me a good 10 tries to get it done. ing bitch. What I wound up doing was as it was spawning, tossing about six bottlecap mines down the hollow where it walks up then shooting her with a nuke. Twice. Then I still had some shooting to do. I've seen Legendary Mutated Deathclaws die easier than the Mirelurk Queen.

See thing is I was doing this at like level 11 with barely any good weaponry Had to go to Diamond City to stock up on molotovs and grenades, then spam it with whatever bullets I had!

I'm level 20 with said nuke and still can't kill it with a crit. It's ok Ben, I'm here for you.

But then again I forget a lot of what I'm doing in that game because I'm literally just wandering around aimlessly killing things and finding random side missions.

Gonna put who he is in white: He's the robot guarding the castle's armoury

seeing that there are around 55+/- mini nukes in the game I wont feel bad wasting one or two on a legendary.

Just had the space ship crash for me. I had just fast traveled to Red Rocket, when I heard some kind of noise, and then Cait mentioned something falling from the sky.

Currently on Sarge...trying not to use power armor, but I may have to whip it out for this.

Was heading out of Sanctuary, and to the right of the road, down by the water, killing some of the bugs, and I kept hearing banging. Finally found the source of it, it was two Deathclaws duking it out. Thankfully I was far enough away that they didn't see me, because it would have sucked to have to have fought two of them.

Semi spoiler: So anyone attempt to find the Constitution again? Freaking hilarious conversation with Ironsides. You can do that? I was tempted to but never did.

lol I never heal my companions, let em get up later. I feel bad because his whimpers make me sad. Yep, same. I leave him at the Truck Stop for that reason along with Curie. I travel with my lesbian lover Piper typically though I have almost all of the companions available... at least I think. I've done through "REUNIONS" but stopped after that one, did not want to get too much further into the story. Now I'm organizing the different settlements.

I just used the spray and pay on the mirelurk queen and it went down in about 15 seconds. That gun is incredibly OP

Is there a way to link the weapon and armor benches to each other, similar to how you can setup supply lines for the work bench?

I'm so overwhelmed by this game in the best way possible. I'm only level 10 and I just got into the brotherhood of steel and have a lot of little side missions to do. Designing my settlement for the sanctuary has been eating my time. its strangely addicting and a feature I didn't expect to enjoy. I have so many resources from scrapping materials that I think I can design some really cool crap.
