I've never watched Rick & Morty, but this was too funny not to post.

Easily the best way to end the season after panning to Fox's low browery with the Family Guy cross over.

This is the first anything I've ever seen of Rick & Morty.. And I feel like the characters were inspired by Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

I agree, man. No more guest animators.
Hurts. :/

This was awesome!
Rick and Morty is not only hilarious but really good science fiction. Seeing them cross over with one of my all time favorites was a real treat. It being a mini episode of Rick and Morty was even better.
Also, I love guest animators. We've had some of my favorite animators: Bill Plympton, Don Hertzfelt, Sylvain Chomet, and John K, plus Guillermo Del Toro and Banksy! This may be the best one though. I can't wait to see what else we get.

That makes me actually want to try Rick and Morty. It's a wonderful show if your sense of humor fits theirs. The humor is a bit acute at times.

This is the first anything I've ever seen of Rick & Morty.. And I feel like the characters were inspired by Doc Brown and Marty McFly. That's probably because they were. Rick & Morty started off a short webisode on Channel 101 called The Real Adventures of Doc & Mharti. I want to call it a parody but outside of using the characters & time travel being mentioned, it didn't seem like they took a ton from it but I've never watched a full episode of that. Anyway, they just repacked those characters when it came time for Rick & Morty so yeah, they were directly inspired by Doc & Marty. Anyway, love Rick & Morty, it's one of the most original and hilarious animated series out there. There's an entire episode where Rick & Morty just watch commercials from other dimensions & all those commercials were clearly improvised by the actors, with the animation adding later. It's utterly hilarious & unconventional and the B-plot added some emotional depth. It also has a brilliant continuity joke/plot-point. Lawnmower Dog, the second episode, is another absolutely great one. With this & Community, Dan Harmon pretty much solidified himself as my favorite mind in television (least over here). I don't like The Simpsons anymore but I'm really happy that they did this. It's a really cool thing to do for Rick & Morty and The Simpsons definitely earns more respect from me for allowing them to promote themselves like this.
