Does anyone still like this show? I stopped watching years ago because it had become unwatchable but they somehow managed to make it worse. This is the laziest writing ever. How did The Cleveland Show get canceled but this is still on the air?
Has Family Guy become one of the worst shows ever or is it just me?

I haven't watched for a few years. I think the last time I watched religiously was sometime before Brian was killed. I'm way more into Bob's Burgers now.

Last episode i watched was Brian "Dying".
I then watched the Simpsons crossover and haven't gone back since.

I stopped watching Family Guy when I realized it wasn't the only available outlet for pop culture references.

Family Guy hasn't been good in nearly ten years.

South Park, Archer, American Dad, King of the Hill were/are all consistently funny still. In fact, South Park is getting BETTER as of it's last season.
Family Guy has gotten extremely hit and miss, much like The Simpsons, I think. I watch it, but very rarely. It's an "if nothing else is on" show.
American Dad is far and away the best MacFarlane show though.

At least it's its own thing now, it's not trying to be The Simpsons or South Park anymoer.

I think Family Guy is terrible.. Seth McFarlane isn't funny anymore to me and I think his shtick is extremely old.. I even thought 'Ted' was god awful.. Because it was that typical McFarlane style that I've grown very tired of.. It was nothing new.
I'll watch old episodes and re-runs if nothing else is on.. But I definitely don't go out of my way to watch Family Guy.. American Dad on the other hand is really good. Hands down, the best thing Seth McFarlane has ever done.

I find some episodes to he extremely watchable and some to not. I've never thought it was incredible, but as throwaway entertainment I enjoyed it. Except the times I didn't. I guess I'm trying to say that it is fair-to-middlin'. The constant name-checking of pop culture does not a real joke make, so I find that to be the show's weakest element.

Any time I do see some of it no matter my mood, I always think 'How do some people find this funny?'
I did watch the very first few seasons but it got worse and I moved on...

McFarlane's best work will always be American Dad (in my opinion)

Now that show should've been cancelled back in 2003.
