I've ordered several shirts from WWE Shop in the last year, and some have had the authentic tag, some haven't.

I think those that don't have the authentic wear tag are funded by the wrestlers themselves. At least some have to be, after all Cameron had one (without the tag) while she was still a Funkadactyl.

I'm not sure but not all of them have the official logo, their are some shirts they sale on both wwe.com and at Kmart and they don't have the official logo but are official shirts

No little tag at the bottom? Of a shirt bought at a live event? Maybe the newer shirts changed. Or he bought it from one of those guys sitting outside of the live events with tshirt stands. I've added images to show what I mean I see. I have the Ryback one. I thought it was badass that it had the new logo.

shopzone is all bootlegs. If the tag is Gildan and not WWE, it's fake. They've always had WWE tags. This may sound stupid but what does gildan mean It's a shirt brand. I have a bunch of them as undershirts. WWE doesn't print on them, so that's how you know it could be fake

If it's sold at Walmart, it's not official. They're official shirts. They're not as nice as the pricier shirts on the Shop. Something as far as details and materials have got to give to have them at $9.99 rather than $24.99. Wal-Mart isn't going to risk fines, and possible store closures to sell counterfeit WWE shirts.

If it has the Authentic logo, it's official. If it doesn't, it's probably not. I've added images to show what I mean The tag where the size is. Like XL or whatever. If it's not a black tag that says WWE etc it's fake. They've always had that. If you bought it from the eBayer "shopzone" it's a bootleg. They pose as a real retailer but their shirts are fake.

I never knew that. I just assumed that since they were so cheap, they'd be fake. Thanks for the info.

I messaged them about a rollins shirt but thanks for telling me this, I have now messaged another seller to see if theirs is official

Some shirts just aren't apart of the "Authentic" line of T-shirts. It doesn't mean they aren't authentic licensed WWE tees; it's just the name of the series the T-Shirt is from.
Also, knockoffs can imitate that little tag on the bottom of the shirt too. Just because a shirt has one, doesn't make it real either.

I always thought the shirts with the authentic tag were the ones they wear on t.v they have other t shirt designs but usually the only ones you actually see the wrestlers wearing during entances and promos are the shirts with the tag at the bottom left

I'd prefer a WWE shirt that did not have that stupid 'WWE Authentic Wear' tag on it..
I didn't know that it was on some official shirts and not on some official shirts (basically it is random?).

There seems to be a bit of confusion as far as "fake" and "authentic" goes.
The stuff that gets sold at Walmart and other retailers is officially licensed, but they aren't "authentic" in the sense that WWE doesn't usually sell them directly, and you won't see the guys and girls wearing that merchandise on TV. WWE is still seeing revenue from them, or, at least, revenue from the licensing the company who is printing them paid to them to have that right.
I could be wrong, but as far as the authentic stuff goes (and all of the pictures you posted on the first page are what I'd consider authentic shirts), I only know of a few places that sell them - WWE Shop, their own live events, and Hot Topic (selected shirts.) If it came from anywhere else, it's either someone buying and reselling, receiving excess stock, or they're knock-offs.
Now, as for the "authentic" tag on the bottom corner (NFL jersey style), not all of WWE's authentic shirts have that. It shouldn't be indicative of whether or not the shirt is a "real" WWE product. Like I previously mentioned, I've ordered several shirts from WWE Shop in the last year, and some have had that tag, some haven't. It seems like the more a guy/girl wears the shirt on TV, the more likely it is to be one that has a tag, but that's not always the case.

Are the ones without the tag a different material (and not as thick as ones with the tag), just wondering? The top I speak of is Roman Reigns "Believe That" grey top as he doesn't really wear it.

They may be different, but I don't think it's directly related to whether or not the jock tag is there or not. Most of mine feel pretty much the same - a general, heavyweight cotton. Here's what's in my closet right now, and any subtle differences I may have noticed: Finn Balor (Face, Black) - NXT Tag, Standard Heavyweight Cotton Daniel Bryan ("YES" Maroon) - WWE Authentic Tag, Standard Heavyweight Cotton Seth Rollins ("Seth for Business", Gray) - No Jock Tag, Standard Heavyweight Cotton Daniel Bryan (Yes Movement/Face, Light Gray) - WWE Authentic Tag, Standard Heavyweight Cotton Paul Heyman (Paul Heyman Guy, Black) - WWE Authentic Tag, Standard Heavyweight Cotton CM Punk (Best in the World/Flag Logo, Black) - No Jock Tag, Standard Heavyweight Cotton CM Punk ("In Punk We Trust", Heather Gray) - WWE Authentic Tag, Stretchy Cotton, Slimmer Fit The last one listed is from 2012, so maybe they were running all shirts like that then, but that is the only one that feels any different to me. I can verify they're all 100% the real deal, as they all came directly from WWE Shop. So, really, there shouldn't be a ton of variation from one shirt to the other. I'm sure their brands vary based on costs, but, in general, they seem to use a heavyweight cotton. My couple with no jock tags are just as thick as their counterparts.

I got; Orton far beyond mercy (from house show) Reigns one v all (same house show) Uk tour 2014 I was there (eBay, official store) Unstable ambrose (fake, eBay, scammed by seller) Rollins undisputed future (same seller) Rollins buy in (scammed by another eBay seller) Reigns Believe that (eBay, unsure if official, the research says it is). I think the last one may feel different because my official ones were recently washed and because I hang them up to dry I think they still might be damp.
