He's been power bombing cena for two weeks now. Wearing cena shirts. Mocking john cena in promos. Vince wouldn't let that happen if he was going to bury him. I know you like Owens, but the track record for guys vs. Cena isn't favourable for Cena's opponents. Cena always takes a beat down at first and then comes back to destroy his opponent. Look at Rusev. Rusev had the upper hand on Cena at Fast Lane and all the way up to Wrestlemania. Then for 3 months in a row, Cena beat Rusev. Kevin Owens would have been better off coming up to Raw and going after anyone BUT John Cena. Vince knows that Kevin Owens is a big deal in NXT, so bring him up and have Vince's number 1 guy in John Cena beating Kevin Owens, just puts stock into John Cena as being the ultimate best. Comparing the fued with rusev is slightly different. Owens has been the focal point of raw twice, smackdown once and nxt for two weeks bad mouthing and mocking cena. This is much different than how rusev was booked. |

To think the match will end in a pinfall is ridiculous. It will be a no contest and continue on for a while. I repeat. Vince McMahon would not be letting them book Owens on every show they have as strong as he's being booked if he didn't see something in him. |

In just the five months that Kevin Owens has been a focal point, he's proven (at least in my view) to have more worth than a guy like Rusev or Bray Wyatt. I love the both of them, but Owens has more capability of being a legitimate main event talent and I think WWE sees that. It's easy for everyone to say that NXT call ups will fail, but let's not forget that one of them is the current WWE Champion. |

Rusev was with the company for months before he hit TV. His first real fued was with jack swagger. Owens first real TV fued is with cena. While he's feuding with Joe. He's a huge deal and people don't seem to get it |

I say let him go undefeated for awhile. Have him do something so awful Regal strips him of the NXT title.

Great news, the guy is ready. I've been a huge fan of Owens work since him and Zayn were killing each other in ROH, but even i still underestimated just how good he is. The guy is juggling 3 different fueds at once, Zayn, Joe, and Cena and still somehow finds a way to seamlessly transition between them in one incredible 5 minute promo. In freaking credible

Now that Owens is signed to the main roster, it will be interesting to see how they handle the finish of his match with Cena on Sunday.
Do you have Owens just beat Cena? DQ finish? Samoa Joe run in? Tons of possibilities.

I really really really really really hope this is true, because it is true that he is main roster and main event ready. His ring work, presence, and mic skills all qualify him as main roster main event ready. Awesome news!
