I've bought some of Hasbro's Mashers figures, and I think they're fun simple figures, so I was curious about the newest line of WWE figures, the Create-a-Superstar series. Fortunately, the Target tracker showed a new case in my area so I made a quick toy run and picked up the entire set! Each set comes with 13 inter-changeable pieces; A head, upper torso, arms, lower torso, legs, boots, and two accessories. Each set also comes with a sheet of decal tattoos. Once assembled, the figure has a hybrid of Basic and Elite articulation with some unique features. There is no ab-crunch or bicep swivel but the arms have new elbow swivel articulation. The hands simply rotate but have no hinge joints. The legs have Basic knee joints, without any swivel thigh cuts, but with ball joints on the hips. Here are the pics of each wrestler in this set, with a quick comparison shot to show any difference in scale John Cena Bray WyattThe RockHulk HoganOverall, I think these figures are nicely made and I only wish that they offered a little more variety, especially on the upper torsos. It's cool to have a Mr America Hogan but the ripped upper body doesn't look right on him. At least NXT Bray Wyatt has a different shirt top. Hopefully future waves of these figures will have different body types. I particularly liked the armored details on the Rock, though. The fun part, of course, is mixing and matching all the pieces... Finally, for those interested in these sets, here's the Target DCPI number (Thanks to cableV for discovering this): 087-06-3506 Also, here are the individual UPC codes: Hulk Hogan: 887961-152548 John Cena: 887961-152500 The Rock: 887961-152517 Bray Wyatt: 887961-152531 I hope this helps and that you like the new pics!

Thanks for posting this. I'm not a huge fan of this line but I would get the bray because it looks like his attire when he was in nxt. I also would consider hulk because of the mr America possibilities. Also when you place this bray beside an elite or basic they are about the same size so they would display nicely. Great pickups!

Cool pics... I'll definitely be picking up Hogan for a Mr America fix-up (...just in case Mattel don't get 'round to releasing one!).

I think this idea is fantastic and I hope to see it continue to really give us some variety. If these had come out in the pre/early video game era, I think these would have been HUGE. As it is, I think we'll be lucky to see this line survive the year. It's too bad because they have a ton of potential. I'd like to see them include some generic heads as accessories.

Thank you very much for posting these, along with the reviews! I'm definitely getting Hogan to do a head swap onto a spare DM body. Might just pick up 2 since they're pretty inexpensive so I can make a mr.america

Hey Micro, would you be willing to do a quick head swap pic of Hogan onto the DM? If not it's okay if you don't feel comfortable swapping parts. Thankfully it looks like The skin tone is pretty darn close

I really want them and I honestly hope they do well to encourage more sets. I mean, they are fun for kids to make up their own wrestlers and mix and match the pieces. It also adds to anyone who does a pic fed or plays with the figures, as you can, like I said a sentence ago, make up new wrestlers. Which opens the door for a lot of possibilities for those who play. You could create jobbers, tag teams, give guys a new gimmick, or whatever. I'm really digging that Mattel took a chance on something like this and again,I hope they do well.

I'm just wondering if the heads could be swapped onto regular figures. I like the look of that Hogan head and worry that they won't ever reuse it. That happened with those Ryback, Big Show, and Brock Lesnar strikers headsculpts that were never used on figures again since.

this is a pretty cool line. they remind me a little bit of the jakks S.T.O.M.P line. the bray figure is pretty damn awesome, the G.I Cena looks ok too, brahama bull spartan warrior rock looks cool too, but it kindof out of place. mr america hulkster is cool, too.
i had a little chuckle about hulk hogan STILL being in almost every line of merchandise to this day.
