Howdy Folks, I haven't been on here in a looong time. Years. Was very, very big into the wrestling figure collecting, but kinda 'grew out of it'. However, I always kept my stuff as I always said I'd display them again if I'd the space. So that time is here and I'd like to try and make a little wrestling figure arena display.
So to get to the point of the thread, when I was a member here, there was another user that was here on and off (didn't seem to be a regular user, but I could be wrong). I'm not sure what his job was, but he used a CNC machine I think, and worked with printing and that kinda thing?
He made some versions of the 'new' (at the time) HD Stages for Raw, SD! and ECW and he offered them for sale on here. I bought the Raw and SD! sets off him.
These are the ones I bought:
Anyway, the reason I'm posting this is to ask if anyone here knows who it is/was that made them for me? I know he was in the UK (cos I remember postage not being too bad). The reason I want him is cos I remember he made the RAW titantron from before the HD stage. This one:
And I'd like to see if I could get it (I remember he half-made it. It wasn't finished and the proportions etc. were off if I recall correctly, but I'm hoping he finished it, and he's still able to make them).
Sorry for the long post. Hopefully someone will know who I'm talking about.

I don't know his name but i remember he was from Germany I think. I traded him a bunch of ring skirts for stages and he never came through with his end of the deal for me. The only time i was ever ripped off on WF.

The only time i was ever ripped off on WF. Well I know the chap that I was dealing with was definitely after shipping his stuff from the UK. I didn't trade with him, I paid him (Paypal, I believe) but I bought the two stages at two different times (I got the RAW one, and then about 2 months later, the SD! one. I remember he was trying to convince me to get the ECW one, but I didn't really want it. But both times I bought the stages he was prompt enough about getting them sent out to me and they were made exactly as he had said they'd be.

Oddly, enough, Naparo, you came up in an old email search I did (I bought ring aprons off you years ago). Anyway, I found old emails off the chap I bought them from. His email is shaun.carruthers@btinternet.com and his ebay was carruthers128. Unfortunately, his ebay has since been deactivated. I got this message off him in 2008 when I was buying my SD! set off him. He mentions why you got screwed over: I asked about buying more in future (which, ironically, is what I'm looking to do). He replied with: "As for selling these again, that is a problem. I have bad trader notices etc now on WF and Ebay was starting to go the same way for a number of reasons.
Basically, the parcels which contain the stage parts etc are too large/heavy to send via Royal Mail. This means i have to use Parcel Force (Out of my own pocket) or TNT (using the work account). Now, if i send too many via TNT this would be flagged up and potentially cause alot of bother. It also costs £110 to send one full stage to the US using TNT (Not sure of cost via Parcel Force, but i highly doubt that the Americans would want to pay $100 (?) on shipping and its not a hit i want to take. SO, i have let alot of people down on there, Naparo and xXxStraightedgexXx (or something like that!) as i did a trade with 1 and the other did all the graphics on my stage, but i simply cannot afford to send 2 full stages, with all 3 brand graphics as this would cost me either well over £100 or my job i reckon!
I guess i shouldn't have just ignored it like but i am still looking into a way to get it to them without having to sell my daughter to do so.
Anyway, basically, i appreciate your interest and business and am happy to continue this as it only costs £33 to send them to Ireland which doesn't get flagged as its cheap."There you go.. at least you know he wasn't intentionally trying to get one over on you. That said, I still can't find him. His email address doesn't come up on google (I was hoping it'd bring me to a Facebook Profile). I presume he's since changed his email address and stuff. I've also no idea what age he was or where it was he actually worked so I can't navigate the web with that kind of info.. pain in the hole...
