It's been explained several times in the thread. Brock wants to go to Japan to visit a friend, so he's agreed to doing a squash match for WWE so he makes money on the trip instead of spending money. Kofi's pretty much the perfect guy for a Lesnar squash -- he's smallish and damn agile, easy to throw around, and he's getting over great as a bad guy. There's literally nobody on the roster who would be better for this spot than Kofi, other than maybe J&J Security in a handicap match. I'm not reading this whole thread, lol. Seems reasonable though.

Lesnar vs Kingston??? Why??? Lesnar is going all the way to Japan to squash Kofi? He doesn't even like to fly around the US when he was wwe champion!

No chance ill be able to drag my ass outta bed for that, and that's not a knock on the guys I just dont do waking up early, ill be staying up to watch it You wouldn't be able to wake up in time for a show that starts at 11:30am? It said 6:30am... If im working then i'd stay up and watch it considering I finish at 7:30 am, if its a day off I wake up between 12 - 2pm depends what time I go to sleep the night before usually between 5-7am.

This card looks great. Jericho vs. Neville is probably gonna be match of the night with the NXT title match being a close 2nd. I'm actually also looking forward to seeing Ziggler and Cena teaming up, and Brock facing Kofi Kingston. If Brock vs. Kofi isn't a squash match, then I think these 2 together could put on a great match.

Kofi seems like a pretty natural fit to me for a Brock opponent TBH... not someone they could ever sell PPVs with, but someone who is going to make Brock look tremendously, tremendously good.
Not like they were going to trot out Brock vs. Rollins in Japan...

Only 3 matches I want to see and that's about it. I wonder how the WWE wrestlers are going to handle the crowd reaction, because from what I heard they don't really cheer over there but instead clap to show respect.

They see it as theatre (which it is when you think about it). They'll pop huge for a big spot or if someone uses the other persons finisher(which is a big taboo in Japan. You just don't steal the other guy's move)

I think Balor will win the title here.

If Kofi actually has a decent showing, that could do wonders for his career.

Ughhh.. Lesnar vs. Kofi is a joke! I hope this match isn't final! It more than likely is. Brock is traveling overseas to see a friend and agreed to do a squash match for the company so he gets paid for the trip. It'll be a quick showcase for him and is a genius move on Brock's part.

What happened to Jericho vs Brock? I'd read a while back that they replaced Kofi with Jericho.
