The E34 torso would have been perfect.
Hopefully, the inevitable nWo Hogan doesn't get messed up like that.

Looks pretty accurate to me. I feel like a lot of people mix up being cut and being jacked.

A combination of Hogan's E34 torso and head with his DM arms would make a great '98 - '03 Hogan this was when his physique looked most impressive IMO Really hope they make his figure more tanned too. 80s - 91 Hogan: huge arms, shoulders, chest but chubby 93 - 96 Hogan: lean & noticeably smaller muscles 98 - 03 Hogan: big arms, shoulders & chest & lean

It needed to be much thinner/less-bulky than his DM figure... I'm surprised they didn't go with the E34 torso though - that seemed pretty perfect. Won't fit the legs. I hope the DM Torso fits the HOF figure cause I plan on this....

I don't own the figure yet, but it doesn't look too horribly bad from what I've seen. I guess I'll just have to wait until I have him in hand to decide whether or not I like it. Regardless, he'll still be a welcomed edition to my collection. Trust me, once you have it, you will like it. If you're a Hogan fan, it is really cool!

I was on the fence about this figure until I got it today. It's really a good figure. I keep the shirt on so I don't really care about the torso and the head isn't nearly as big looking in person as it has appeared in some of the photos seen here.

Look at him during Mania 9. He WAS skinnier, he was off the juice and looked completely different than the Hulkster of the late 80's

That is why they needed to make another torso for him, just like they did for batista. I just don't want the hollywood hogan to look that skinny

Mase hates Mattel! Get Him! Lol jk Yea that looks bad. Far too skinny. They should have used Kane's torso for that era of hogan Hogan and flair shouldn't have the same torso The elite 34 torso would work better for this figure. I wonder if volkoff trunks would be too big for that torso I'm certain the e34 torso wont fit volkoff style trunks. Got some better pics. [img src="" style="max-width:100%;"]

Now I really wish the HOF Hogan had this torso. Too bad there aren't any existing figures in HH's skin tone. (L3 Bulldog's close but a shade lighter.) I think Bulldog's skin tone is too light. Hogan has been pretty tanned during his career. If you look at pics of him and Rock from WM18 he's darker than Rock. Now that bulldog/rock style torso look very much better for the HOF. Thanks for the idea and example. If there was a less cut version of E33 Batista's torso, I wonder how that would fare for this era of Hogan. Now you just reignite my urge to get that bluetista just for the parts.. but no idea who it suits best. Lol

Saw someone suggest using a macho torso so I tried it and I think it looks slightly better. Chest is a little more thicker

No, he's not. He is very accurate for April 1993.

Macho's look too rip for my taste but if you like, that's fine.

The Austin/Rock torso is really the best way to go here. DM is too big, Macho is too ripped, the one that came on it is entirely too small. Austin/Rock torso gives the girth of hogan chest/midsection (he was till freaking big guys) plus makes him smaller then his roid days and makes him larger then Ric Flair (which he was)
