The title explains it. Let's list and discuss movies we frequently watched when we were kids.
Terminator 2: Judgement Day Robocop Lethal Weapon Trilogy Back to the Future Trilogy Rookie Of The Year Little Big League The Sandlot Grease Ghost Dirty Dancing Problem Child Problem Child 2 Dennis The Menace Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood Footloose Universal Soldier Homeward Bound The Little Rascals My Girl My Girl 2 Up In Smoke
Those were all movies I watched A LOT as a kid.

Keep in mind, this was the 70s. We didn't have a VCR until 1985. All of these were broadcasted once a year, and my brothers & I used to scour the TV Guide to see when they would air. I'm so glad I have these on DVD.

I've loved movies for as long as I can remember, and it was always tradition in my house to get pizza and rent and movie on Friday night.
No two films stand out more than The Lion King and Jurassic Park, though. I watched them dozens upon dozens of times as a kid.
I vividly remember the experience leading up to my first viewing of Jurassic Park. We had the same routine every Friday - my mom and I would go to the video store and rent a movie for that evening. My dad would come home from work with pizza for them and a happy meal for me (unless I wanted pizza too.)
I don't remember what my mom and I rented that week, but I wanted to see Jurassic Park. It had just come out. My mom thought I was a little too young for it. I was so upset. My dad got home with the food, and handed me my happy meal. It felt a little heavy. I opened the bag and there was a fresh copy of Jurassic Park inside. He had gone out and bought it (on VHS, of course.) I remember crying out of pure excitement. That tape got used countless times.
