I hope he doesn't leave. But at the same time, if he does, I hope he finds the type of success that Styles and Morrison have found.
I won't lie and say I won't miss him. I Will because he's a good hand to have. The Survivor Series pop he got last year lead me to believe some big things were in store for him.
How wrong was I?

a serious talent that in my opinion was not properly developed. when he had aj and big e and the briefcase it really seemed like he was on his way up.
he deserves better.

I think Ziggler could have been more, but I'm not sure he can anymore in the WWE. Definitely missed and lost opportunities due to injuries and poor booking. I like Dolph but he has become very dull to me so I would be lying if I said I would miss him if he decided to leave.

Him being paired with A Diva or winning a Mid card title is as far as he's ever gonna go in his career.

He could still make a decent living working the indies. Look at Del Rio and AJ Styles. Those guys are making a killing right now working the indies and I think Dolph has enough merit to his name to have quite a few Indy promotions give him sweet offers. Honestly, Ziggler is good. I think he deserves a bit better but he's not in the elite group of superstars that everybody claims he is in. Not everyone can be in the main event and I hate the notion that pushing a guy means a main event push or a wwe title reign. Why can't a push be holding the IC title? Some of the best wrestlers ever failed to win the wwe title. Mr. Perfect, Razor Ramon, Piper, Owen. Etc. Good for them, and their careers are failures in the grand scheme. It's world title or bust. No other belts in this company mean anything. Inb4 someone calls me a troll for saying this. And Razor shouldn't be a part of that list, I read he turned down a title reign, so he didn't fail, he damned himself. It's still real to him, dammit!

This is no different than anyone else who is not satisfied with there job. Sure they're likely making good money and have a safe spot but if Dolph has been doing a great job, is over with the fans, and doesn't see any growth in his career I don't blame him for wanting to go elsewhere. People in the working world take pay cuts all the time to leave a job they arnt happy with.
I don't blame Dolph if this is true. The guy has been over for a long time now yet has never been given a legit shot in the main event. The one time he did he was injured by someone else almost immediately and never got a chance again. The. What he did at SS last year turned out to be nothing as he was simply given that spot because Roman was hurt. Dolph will have a lot of other companies making him offers if he leaves.

If he does leave, then WWE will finally realise just what a great talent he is.

Ziggler is 35 years old and has been with the company for 11 years. He knows he isn't getting a run with the strap, not with Rollins, Lesnar. Ambrose, Cena, Orton and Reigns around. I doubt he will leave, this is probably a negotiating tactic. AJ Styles is killing it in the Indys making around 350k a year. Forbes reported Ziggler made around 900k last year and was one of the highest paid wrestlers in the business. . You think he wants to take that pay cut to be an Indy heavyweight champ?

I don't see him going to RoH, and both TNA and LU probably won't be around much longer. I don't know if NJPW would want him (even though he'd fit right in with the Bullet Club). I think Dolph would be great on the independent scene. I could see him doing the rounds in Chicago, NY, and LA. Lucha Underground won't be around much longer?!?!? Where the hell did you get that from? Production cost is around $2 million per episode. They don't make that money back through low-tier advertising. They keep saying that Season 2 is a thing, but it hasn't been confirmed and talent has started booking other dates. They were going to do a traveling show, but that was scrapped as well.

I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he left. He really seems to want to pursue a comedy career and I think he's achieved all that he will in WWE so it makes sense. I really can't picture him winning the World Title again. Too many injuries, he says things in interviews they probably don't like, I think Dolph has accomplished all that he can and will. I could be wrong though, you never know.

Personally I think he's great.. would be sad to see him leave.
May I add that he is a Spirit Squad survivor! I was amazed to learn it was Nicky from the SS. They may have their fanbase or whatever but I was never a fan. To see him do so well after that, well is a testament to his ability and character.

I don't was to make this about Lucha Underground but they don't have any exclusive talent and according to WrestleZone they are all keeping August and September open. They haven't got word yet on a season two, which isn't great but it's not necessarily bad news. I think a lot of this might be riding on getting the show on the large Spanish speaking networks. But last I heard they were still taking about signing Rey Mysterio. I can't imagine they'd still be taking about it if there was a chance they were going to be canceled. But to tie all this into Dolph Ziggler, I really hope he shows up for season 2. I know he won't be there from the beginning but I'd love to see him in LU.

I used to be a big fan, but ever since he's been a bandwagon guy he's been boring in my mind Does this mean you only liked him when other people didn't like him? This mindset has been going on for years and it has always been lame. Dolph is getting a lot of hate in here. I'm a little surprised, but then again, this is the internet.

I loved the gimmick he had, when returned to the main roster. Shaking people's hands, smiling, and saying: "Hi. I'm Dolph Ziggler", especially when he did it in the RR, that was hilarious.

I'm going to speak for myself when I say I love Ziggler - he's one of my favorites. However, Ziggler has become staler than Cena! Ziggler comes out every Raw and SD, does his butt dance, and flops around like a fish in the ring. He gets one or two IC title wins a year, wash, rinse, and repeat. That's been Ziggler's status for the last six years and it's really gotten boring.

He can join Mundo in Lucha Underground as Nick Nemeth.
I'm up for it.
