as I stare at my newly acquired HOF Hulk Hogan, something hit me...
I bet my left n... That Mattel will use these exact parts for the up coming 2016 Hollywood Hogan.
Same skinny legs in black tights with lighting on the side. Same weight belt with "Hollywood" on the back. Same rip away shirt with the "nWo" logo on it. Same removable bandana with "Hollywood" on it. Same scan with added 5 o'clock shadow.
Guarantee it!

Doubt it. MDT said nwo hogan will be released next year and it will be well worth the wait. If they weren't sticking to that, they could've easily just don't a simple repaint of the hof hogan and put it out by this November.
So no, I'm going to have to disagree

Better not as the hof figure Is in bad proportion
Kane's torso and legs would be better for hollywood

They'd have a LOT of pissed off people if that's the case. But I highly doubt it. Like the person before me stated, Bill said 2016 and that it'd be well worth the wait. I can't see a simple repaint being worth the wait, and to be honest, the parts choices wouldn't make any sense. He was bigger for most of his nWo run. I think he'll either have the DM torso or the Kane torso

Repaint. I can see it already. But then why would it be released next year and not in time for the holiday season this year? I guess at SDCC our questions and concerns will be answered Because they have to space them out. They wouldn't release 6 elite Hogans in 2015. There would be nothing left to release through 2020 when the license is up. Nothing left in terms of Hogan.

I think it'll have a different scan at the very least. Although, I'm fully in favor of them painting stubble on to any of the existing scans to create an nwo head. I'd want them to do some new ones too, but I like these scans and I intend on buying every nwo hogan so if that's what it'll take to ensure we get a lot of them, then I'll take repainted heads.

Saving him for 2016. But I promise it will be worth the wait. Merry Christmas." Why would they say this to just dissatisfy us with a simple repaint?

The nwo hogan will probably have many new parts which is the reason for the delay.

But there's no logic in using the HoF 2 parts....not when there are other parts that they have readily available.
Kane or DM Hogan torso Kane/undertaker tights Tall boots Cena arms and hands or DM arms and hands
I understand the choices for HoF Hogan since he was slimmer then, but they wouldn't be applicable here

Hogan was back on the juice during his NWO run. Now if it was a 1996 WCW Hogan, I could see them using the same mold. Hollywood Hogan will be beefier than the HOF Hulkster.

The legs are too long anyways. Hogan's boots can't be used with these legs. Plus, Hogan was bigger when he became Hollywood, who wouldn't be smiling because he's a heel.

I really hope they go in a different direction than these Hogan vests we are getting. I get what they are going for but I feel it's poor execution. I'd be happy with just a regular nWo shirt when the eventual Hollywood Hogan comes out.

Vest-shirts I'm okay with. At least they're the right length. Those regular rubber shirts are always so long and my fear is that's what they'll give us if they don't do the vest thing again. Especially if it's not a DM and especially if it comes with the NWO title belt.
