I agree with everything that's been said in this thread, I don't have a whole lot to add....
I haven't been watching RAW either, it's become a chore to watch, with little/no reward for doing so. The opening segment of RAW this week was pointless & had no payoff at all, it was just stupid.
I've been getting my wrestling fix from TNA & several local indy feds I've been attending, and having a blast. Don't need to sit through WWE anymore.

A comment from Disqus in regards to the ratings, I had a good laugh

To everyone suggesting they should go back to 2 hours: The extra hour every week makes them a crap ton of money while ratings don't matter when it comes to money. It would be an incredibly stupid business decision to go back to 2 hours.

I cannot honestly remember the last time I watched a full episode of RAW.
I cannot sit through 2 and a 3 quarter hours of crap for 1 good match here and there. If there is anything good I'll find it on youtube or something afterwards.

Not sure if this is worth mentioning, I have DTV and Raw didn't record this week for me. I noticed around 9pm when I went to watch Ballers that Raw wasn't recording. Not sure if this was a problem with others who have DTV or not but the replay on Tuesday, which was set to record, seemingly messed with that scheduled Monday recording. I'm not sure if DVR numbers are included in the rating or not, I know from TNA I've seen them included in the total number, so that might have been a factor.
I barely watch any of the matches on Raw anymore. I have like 3-4 guys I'll actually watch wrestle. Otherwise, I just want to see the segments and I'll watch them wrestle at the PPV. Kevin Owens is the only guy outside of Brock that has a special feeling to him right now and that's because they have used him in talking segments on Raw more than they have matches. It makes me want to tune-in to the PPV to see him wrestle. We've been saying WWE is in a creative slump for years. This isn't going to change until Vince is out of control and there is a change in philosophy.

I would totally be okay with DVRing and watching here and there. Literally, the only reason I watch Raw live is because I can threadhead, which makes it fun.

It seems that whenever I think there's a half decent show (this week), the ratings are trash.
Maybe I should just hate everything all the time.

I watch the 90 minute Hulu version and that even drags because the segments are so LONG because they have 3 hours to fill.
That combined with repetitive matches, segments, etc,
It's just meh all around. People got better things to do in the summer than sit around and watch 3 hours of boring Raw every week. There are steaks to be grilled, beers to be drank and swimming pools to be used.

Oh! Oh! Oh! Here's a thought... Go back to ing two hours!! It's not that easy. By reverting to the two hour format, the WWE (Vince McMahon in particular) would be admitting defeat. There have been plenty of great three hour episodes before. The issue is providing people with incentives to tune in. We're in the middle of a lengthy build up to a PPV, which is when the writing is usually at its worst. It's even been said before recently that the creative team enjoyed having two weeks in between PPVs, and from Payback to Money in the Bank, RAW was pretty enjoyable for the most part. Having more Network exclusive events to build towards would be a better solution. Would give WWE a chance to increase television quality as well as Network subscriptions.

In the age of DVR, there is almost ZERO incentive to watch 3 hours of Raw every week.
None of it is really "must see or shock tv" anymore. If you miss something, you can just fast forward through all the garbage and find the good stuff.
WWE isn't competing with other shows as much as they think. They are competing with the DVR. People (like me) see that 3 hours of Raw and say "f*ck this, I'll catch it on the DVR so I can skip through the tons of commercials and boring stuff".

I understand it's not easy by any means. If they are going to have three hour Raws then you better damn well sure it's a good show. The fact that I'm saying they should go back to two hours in the SUMMER is saying something. Plain and simple it's just too damn long. Side note: their booking has been pretty bad the past year or so. They need to move away from the authority angle. It is getting dry. I think that could also be a reason why people are disliking this product.

The Authority angle has gone on wayyyyyyyyyyy tooooooo long.
Anyone remember a time when we didn't need an Authority or a Corporation or a GM ? One guy cuts a promo the other guy responds, a match happens a fued started and it made sense.
The fact they want me to believe that they don't have a main event for Raw and the main event is setup and decided during the opening promo of the show is laughable to me.
It's one thing I hate about Wrestling today, every company has some sort of on screen Authority figure, some do it better than others (Lucha Underground) and some do it badly (WWE).
It just seems to be a WWE problem, they take something and run it into the ground and squeeze every last drop of life out of an angle or story.
Rant over lol

Of course, I'm using a small hollowed-out rock for a phone with a small terridctyl inside it transmitting this for me.....You could'nt be more right in my opinion. Apparently though, if they went back to that, the balance would be upset and wrestling fans worlwide would be scared, confused and rioting in the streets.

I haven't watched in months. I keep up with stuff through uproxx or whatever, honestly it all just sounds horrible. It's sad because I'd like to watch what they're doing with Kevin Owens but it's not worth wading through the mounds of unwatchable crape to get there imo. What makes it worse is that the talent in the roster they have right now is actually pretty insane.

I honestly thought Raw this past Monday was good and didn't deserve a low rating.
