I can't remember who it was or which thread. But someone was saying Bill said they can't get the rights to the HOLLYWOOD RULES shirt because they don't know who the artist is. I found the artist his name is Gary Smith and he did all kinds of artwork for Hogan in the past. If you need more info to contact him PM me. I really would love to see that shirt with the HOLLYWOOD figure. MODS if this wasn't the proper place to put this thread please delete and I apologize.

The guys contact info is readily available to anyone who googles his name. What proof do you have that this guy created that design?

He's done lots of art for hogan on his boats his motorcycle and much more. He wouldn't lie and his other art looks similar and im sure hogan could and would confirm.

Funny how WWE can't find this guy but a poster on a figure forum can in roughly 5 seconds. They're honestly just lazy and have bigger fish to fry

Bill said nWo Hogan is coming in 2016. How different is this from Hollywood Hogan? No NWO Hogan in 2015. Saving him for 2016. But I promise it will be worth the wait. Merry Christmas. Also, for how many years has he been Hollywood Hogan and how many times has he had figures, merchandise, or promotional materials been used since then? I don't think its really that bad, I'm pretty sure they have his contact information. And really, I don't think they said oh we don't have Google, we give up. Where has Bill specifically said no Hollywood Hogan until I can secure the rights with the artist?

As long as the artist has some type of proof that it's his design, there should, hopefully, be no problem.

Not about an nwo hogan in general.

If true this is awesome detective work and it fits my personal suspicion that it was done by the same artist who did Hogan's boat. The original "Hollywood Rules" artwork is such an iconic piece. I actually have a framed print (custom made by me) on my wall. Good luck contacting WWE, they have pretty much a "brick wall" system in place to avoid talking to fans as much as possible. It's pathetic but not unlike the rest of the entertainment industry. And by the way MattelDesignTeam I have an ultra-high-resolution professionally-done scan of the original Hollywood Rules t-shirt, if you want a copy for your design department just PM me.

Bill never said anything about the Hollywood Rules shirt. It was a WWE employee at WM fan access, because somebody on here was wearing a Hollywood Rules shirt there, but it was from Hogan himself, and the print was low-quality. All Bill ever said was Hollywood was next year, and he gave no reason why.

Can somebody tell me what the we're even talking about? WWE somehow has no idea who created the Hollywood Rules shirt for WCW. Therefore, they can't sell it or recreate it.

I still have that T shirt. The art is still super crisp because it was one I seldom wore. Its one of my favorite wrestling shirts ever, and is right in front of the Hogan skull shirt that followed. As much as I love the skull shirt, the figure has to have Hollywood Rules. Call it nitpicky, but if he comes with just an nWo shirt I will be very very disappointed, as they could easily do that in a 2 pack with Sting, Flair, Rock, or even Rodman. Hogan had some great shirts in the nWo....the nWo war bonnet however, was ret@rded
