 The Main Event!Tag Team Tournament Semi Final--------------------------------------------------- Trace Demon & Nikki Dean vs. Hollywood Unhinged 2.0. (Jayson Garrett & Diamond Jack Sabbath)Just one match separates one of these teams and a shot at the WFWF World Tag Team Championships and if we made that sound easy then clearly you’ve never seen a WFWF show before. With the finals in sight it comes down to a clash between the very odd, very unlikely pairing of Trace Demon and Nikki Dean and the also odd but a lot more likely Hollywood Unhinged 2.0. For Garrett & Sabbath this is a match about proving they belong having got this far as a result of the ‘lucky losers’ triple threat tag match, the ego’s of these two men definitely not allowing them to consider themselves as anything other than the best. Opposing them stands a team who knocked out the legendary Michael Kyzer and former National Champion Ante Whitner in a good old fashioned tag team match and while the question continues to be whether they can continue to work together they have so far shown no signs of dissension between them. The question remains though, can Trace Demon and Nikki Dean work together to make it to Tokyo as finalists or can Hollywood Unhinged 2.0 find the cracks in this fragile pairing and capitalise for a victory? And that’s not even mentioning what is waiting in the wings for the victors… A$$ Kicker vs. Hope Dealer--------------------------------------------------- Penny Shannon vs. ShapiroPenny Shannon is well and truly back, and she’s taking no prisoners as she tries to establish herself as the rightful number one contender to the International Championship. And while it doesn’t look like that title match is coming in Japan, we’re hearing plenty of noise that Penny Shannon has a statement making plan for the upcoming pay per view. What could that plan be? Well we’re still trying to find out, but what we do know is that before we can get to Japan Penny Shannon has to go through Shapiro who is fresh off of a victory of his own. Shapiro is still trying to mount serious momentum here in the WFWF but a series of wins, particularly one against the likes of Penny Shannon, is a very quick way of doing it and he’ll be at the top of his game going into this one. Which is a good thing because he’ll have to be to halt the train that is the Riot Grrrl in her tracks. Bird on Bird Action--------------------------------------------------- Lucas Crowe vs. Phoenix NitroLucas Crowe is a man with a message to send. “I don’t carry dead weight”This is a message that was heard loud and clear by his provisional tag partner Johnny Hess last week at Choke Hold. An aptly named platform for Crowe’s act of violence as he choked out Hess after their loss to Drakz & Zmey, knocking them out of Tag Team Title contention. That brings us to this card. Phoenix Nitro makes his debut right here in Osaka, Japan and what better way to make an impression than to take out a man who’s already doing just that? This is a match that will change the course of both men’s immediate career paths, and could well set either of them on the scent of gold. Opening the Show!--------------------------------------------------- Joe Magnet vs. Dr. Manson vs. Joey Raid vs. Grayson CainThree debuts and a second toe in the water here. Opening the show in fine fashion we have a four way that gives an opportunity to the new comers, a chance to grab the spotlight on the final show before the PPV. Japan is THE country when it comes to prestige in the wrestling industry, so if you can wow the fans here you’re a made man. Don’t pull any punches guys! I really like the poster. Cool touch on the Japanese theme of this show and the PPV. Great card and I look forward to the matches. If I have enough time, I'll probably take a stab at one of the matches. I'm not 100% sure yet as I feel some of you guys will probably want to do one too, but as the ball gets rolling, I'll let you know.

I don't believe I'll be able to do a match, for I'll be attending a wedding this weekend and the weekday plans are always up in the air. The goal is to write a match for the PPV though. |

As always guys, anyone who wants to write a match or contribute a segment toward the show is more than welcome to. This goes out to the new guys, if you are wanting to contribute something to the show make sure to read the Match Writing Guidelines in the Signups Forum so that you know how to format them. Just a heads up to anyone writing a match or seg for this show; I need everything in asap so we can get the PPV card up. If we don't get the card up by the 22nd for the 2 week RP deadline I won't be able to RP for the PPV due to my Japan visit.

This is helpful. I have the Microsoft Word app that you can use in browser, it's incredible. |
