RAW was pretty good this week.
The brawl was awesome. R-Truth - You Da Real MVP!
Cena vs Rollins at SummerSlam possibly? No thanks.
Also, no Sting? BOOOOOOOO!

Watched the brawl. It was expertly done. The "You're gonna have to" line was great, but I'm still not looking forward to the match.
Also, Undertaker's facial expressions were that of an old man who had kids playing on his lawn.

I was shocked that Lesnar and Undertaker got into that big of a brawl. From a business standpoint, one would think that WWE really wouldn't want to risk anything happening to Undertaker. If he were to get hurt and they had to cancel the SummerSlam match, or an even worse injury that threatened WrestleMania 32....oh man, that would be a DISASTER.
And Undertaker wasn't even wearing his knee brace last night!

I know this probably isn't the most popular opinion, but The Undertaker looks like ABA Taker, acts like ABA Taker, so in reality, he might as well be ABA Taker. I can't help but laugh at the long drawn out cadence of his promos and the entrance at this point. He's just too haggard and old. Plus, this whole brawling angle works a lot better of he's just a bad ass biker.
The brawl was great, though. It was one of the few things they could have done to make me semi-interested in this match. Brock screaming "I WILL KILL YOU" got a genuine pop out of me. The simple stuff that comes out of his mouth makes me laugh every time, in the best way.
Meanwhile, there's the John Cena Problem.
Up until Sunday night, I can't tell you a time where I've enjoyed John Cena more. After nearly ten years of being bored to tears with the guy (except for those big "lights on bright" matches he was having occasionally), he's been one of the most consistently entertaining guys on the roster for the last several months. So, I have to pose the question, why does WWE want me to hate him?
Seriously, they've spent years trying to make the crowd unanimously love him. And even I was there. I was totally on board. And now I'm not. The incessant and unapologetic "protect Cena at ALL costs" mentality is making me hate him...again. How can I get behind a guy who has just served as a huge detriment to two of the company's most promising future heels? Rusev hasn't been the same since being fed to John Cena. Kevin Owens looked to be the exception to the rule, but now his clean win seems like a distant, distant memory. The crowd has all but forgotten it. What they remember is two clean wins for Cena in a row, one by submission, and now Kevin Owens is just another guy. Just another guy who had to be involved in the Taker/Lesnar brawl. Just another guy who trades wins and losses that mean nothing.
It's just so damn disappointing, especially after such a great last few weeks of TV.

J12 not to mention he came out and crapped all over Rollins too. That up-and -comer Cena...

WWE needs to do things with guys like Slater & Fandango ON TV. You have 5 ing hours of premium TV every week. Comedy skits/gimmicks = character development. Slater & Fandango should team up. Make a run at the tag titles. SOMETHING. The under-card is pretty much toast at this point. No one gets any TV time and if they do it's a squash match against a new guy or big show or something. It's terrible. There are some entertaining dudes in the WWE and they never get used for anything on the actual shows.

The fact that guys like Stardust and Neville were left of the show but we got about 5 different recaps of Undertaker/Lesnar is nauseating.

If Cena fueds with Rollins in a 'winner gets both belts' type match, I can't see Rollins going over so it seems a strange choice of fued given they have a good thing going with cena and the US and with Rollins and the WHC.

When Raw is good, it's ing good. When Raw is bad, it's mind-bogglingly detestable.

Watching Raw now, is Tyler Breeze one of the security guards trying to break up Lesnar/Taker, I'd recognise that blonde hair and ponytail anywhere lol

How come we haven't had a new Raw thread made for next week yet?!

How come we haven't had a new Raw thread made for next week yet?! Next week's RAW is going to suck, I think. It's going to be just a major "let's kill some time" week. Brock is not advertised again until August 3rd, so Undertaker is not going to be there next week either. It's too early to bring Sting in because the Wyatt Family needs to introduce their 3rd man and beat down Reigns and Ambrose first, and that's going to take at least 2 weeks probably... The earliest something big is going to happen again is August 3rd when we get Brock again. Then after that, it's whenever they decide to have Sting return, and I think that could be as late as August 10th, maybe even the 17th if they really want to cut it close.

I really have no interest in seeing Sting involved with the Reigns/Ambrose and Wyatt feud. He should be in big Main Event Matches and that's all in my opinion, and in this case they're literally going to throw him in as a last ditch attempt to boost Network subscriptions. I honestly think they'd be better off saving him completely just to appear in the Undertaker Match and set up the showdown for Wrestlemania, it would receive a much better reaction and pop had he not already wrestled earlier in the night.
Anyway, when they were hinting at this brawl happening I was thinking here we go again another recycled brawl splitting them apart, but it was done so well. Surely they can't have this match end with one person going over the other, it has to be there to set up Undertaker vs Sting, it's the only positive outcome it could have.

I read Undertaker is advertised every Raw until SummerSlam. Sting is still in plans? I heard that Vince has nothing for him, not even Mania vs. Taker.

Do you have a link to where it's said Taker will be on every RAW? I just assumed since Brock is not going to be on next Monday that it wouldn't make sense for Taker to show up either. Brock is officially advertised for August 3rd, so that's probably the next best chance at seeing Undertaker. And from what I'm reading, Vince McMahon is afraid that in Brooklyn with the "smark" audience that Roman Reigns is going to get boo'd out of the building and that Bray Wyatt would get cheered. That is why they want to have Reigns team with Ambrose because he's over, and they know Sting will get huge pops, so they want it to take some of the heat that Roman Reigns still for whatever reason gets from smark crowds. Most crowds have gotten over booing Roman Reigns, and he's improved a LOT since the Royal Rumble....but NY, NJ, Boston, Philly, Chicago, etc....they still give him a ton of heat for some reason.
