Women's careers don't span as long as men's because the machine thinks they need to look a certain way. Not because they can't do it. I never said that it was because they can't do it. It's just the way things are and that's why Eva's age is detrimental when it comes to her trying to really start putting in effort. It doesn't seem to be affecting tamina.

She wrestled a 3 minute match, she did the worst running senton I've seen in my life so far (also a pretty garbage Sliced Bread) and aside from that did a lot of stuff that people wrestling their first ever wrestling match can do just as good... and she's in the WWE somehow. Tell me again why I'm supposed to be impressed with anything she did in this match? I mean I don't totally resent her because at least she wants to learn but the way her and the WWE is going about this is ing backwards. It shouldn't be a case where you get signed by the WWE and then you learn how to become a wrestler like 2 years later, you should be learning how to wrestle first and that gets you signed by the WWE. That's where my resentment for her comes from. She's a model and a reality TV star, not a pro wrestler. I hope she can change my mind but I saw nothing from her match on NXT today that has me trending in that direction. Her opponent tonight impressed me much, much more.

She was signed based solely for Total Divas. But I get what you are saying. She should have at least had a year of training before being put on Total Divas or into a wrestling match on NXT or even the WWE. But that isn't her fault either, that is Vince's and the WWE's fault there. I just think we need to sit back and see what happens. She may improve greatly in the next 3 - 6 months. Or she could flop big time. But for someone who 'sucks' so bad, her wrestling figure sure quickly sold out fast on Ringside last year when it came out. So she must have her fans out there somewhere.

She was far better tonight on NXT than she was in the WWE ring a year ago when she pinned AJ Lee in a non-title match. I don't know why people want to hate Eva Marie. It's almost like they know deep down inside that she will be a future WWE Divas Champion and have resentment for her because of that. I know Sasha, Charlotte and the rest of the NXT girls can do amazing things in the ring, but Vince wants Eva to be the star. What Vince wants, Vince gets.

She has only had the one injury. Aside from a concussion or two(which everyone has to deal with) Which could happen to anyone.

She just makes it really easy to want to see her fail. She's been in WWE for two years. Regardless of reason, once she signed that deal, she should have started training. Taking two years to do so is a slap in the face of the business.

Huh? Were we watching the same match? She looked okay, but they looked like they were wrestling underwater. Everything was in slow motion. She showed potential to get there in time. But no, she didn't show me anything tonight that I'd describe as "damn good."
Well, except dat ass.

Vince wanted her to do the modeling shoots, and pose for fitness magazines, and other stuff. A way to get the WWE name out there with a really pretty face and an athletic body to boot. If Vince didn't see something in her, she wouldn't be signed. It's not her fault she hasn't had the proper training in the past few years. But she - along with Brie and Nikki - are the main stars on Total Divas. That's why she has a job.

That's what I was kind of getting at. I appreciate that she wants to learn but it's absurd that she was featured prominently on a WWE produced show before she had even begun training to be a wrestler. That's not on her like... at all, 100% of that blame falls on the WWE but still... that's offensive to me as a wrestling fan. She's training with the right person though and I hope she proves a lot of people wrong including myself but a thread like this, titled as such is just absurd. Though just because she has fans somewhere doesn't mean a whole lot to me... Justin Beiber has a lot of fans too

But the Bellas have improved. If you watch a Nikki Bella match from 2011 and watch one from 2015, she's much better. Bad example to use. As for your other post, I know this is its own thread. But, just like how there's so many "OMG OWENS IS BURIED" threads, there don't need to be multiple threads on the same subject. Chill. Eva looked better than both Bella's combined lol. You're trolling. Watch any of Nikki's recent title defenses and then come back to this match and try to say that with a straight face. Eva isn't technically there in the WWE to wrestle constantly though. She was signed to be used on Total Divas. But she is decent. I love how everyone on here bashes me if I diss Tamina Snuka, yet are quick to bash Eva Marie. How about we just all watch and see what happens?? That's what's so hilarious about it. Tamina is almost 40. Lol its fine if she started late though. She must've always wanted to be a wrestler. That's why she started so late You keep bringing up Tamina like it's not a virtually universal belief that she's awful.

Comparing DDP to Eva 20 years apart... Makes sense. ...what? Dude, how old are u? Lol Comparing DDP starting late to Eva starting late, despite completely different eras is ridiculous, man. The idea of what a diva is has changed. DDP learned very fast from veterans, and over the years became an adequate, but never great, worker. Eva, had she debuted when Trish did, would probably be fine. Except now the tide is changing and the women are starting to be expected to put on matches that rival the mens (with the NXT diva arrivals). Eva is 31. She has no training or passion. To suggest she can improve like DDP did is just a really bad comparison.

I'm not saying she's great. I'm saying she has shown more than Eva did tonight. Which was your original statement. I think you were watching through rose-colored glasses (All red everything?) or something. Eva looked like someone who just started learning how to wrestle. She didn't look "damn good." Can we instead talk about #LegsForDays?
