The audio in question isn't that one rather one allegedly where he's calling others inferior and he hated wrestling non white wrestlers.

I just listened to the audio and see nothing wrong at all, he was not using offensively. If that's the reason WWE removed Hogan, that's the dumbest reason ever. While I agree with what we've heard so far, the full thing hasn't been released yet apparently, there might be more to it. All we know is it isn't the interview from 2012, it's something different.

Got to be more to it. No way does that radio interview warrant WWE deleting everything Hogan-related like they have done.
Unfortunately I think there will be more to come

Check out my previous post. I saw a picture of some quotes I'll post after my dr apt. They were unfortunately not tasteful. The 2012 interview was light hearted and not the reason. If it was that 2012 interview WWE wouldn't be removing him like this.

Just the kind of PR WWE wants to have close a week huh?
I can't see him being fully Benoit'ed from now until eternity but it'll be a few years before this subsides and he reappears on television.
I think the WWE.com stuff is egregious and insulting to fans' intelligence. It's not like we don't know Hogan was a legend, HoF, etc.
They should totally have pushed Axelmania to the moon and make that gimmick his thing.

Hell OJ is in the NFL hall of fame. A true criminal. Yay for WWE being publicly traded with a board of directors.

The audio which has caused all this is apparently NOT the 2012 radio interview. It's apparently much much much worse.

Michael Hayes can say the N word to someone's face and still stick around.

He will be blacklisted for a few years for it all to blow over, then eventually they will slowly work him back in. He's too big a part of their history to give the Benoit treatment.

I've seen some quotes around the net on other sites which are apparently transcripts from some audio due to be released. If its true then yeh Hogan is done as far as WWE is concerned.
Some really bad racist comments towards the Rock.
Hopefully not true but we will know soon enough

If this is true, it just goes to show that your heroes will always let you down.

For those stating he's getting the Benoit treatment, let's put this in perspective. Benoit "allegedly" (for all you conspiracy theorists) KILLED two people, with one being a minor, and presumably not in self defense.
Hogan has either dropped the n-word or stated that he hated working with minorities.
Paula Deen, Quentin Tarantino, Mel Gibson, Colin Kaepernick, Justine Bieber, Johnny Depp, Eminem, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Jonathon Rhys Meyers, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Gwynenth Paltrow, and Alec Baldwin seem to be still around.
So unless its more than just a racial slur, I'm sure he'll be around. Some of those celebs did much worse **cough Mel Gibson cough ** and they still are making money in Hollywood.

I don't approve of anything he apparently said, but I still love Hulk. Let's not forget Warrior went on a rant about homosexuality. Old men are stuck in their old ignorant ways.

How can we start a petition to get him back? I hate how the world is so politically correct now days. It really ruins everything.

Yeah there are people in that company (Hayes, McMahon) that have been racially liberal with their word choices and are still around. No reason Hogan won't be back five, six years down the line.

If this is true, it just goes to show that your heroes will always let you down. People aren't infallible. I'm willing to bet you have used at LEAST one derogatory comment in your life. This only shows that A) people, who make these comments themselves, love to see celebrities humbled because logic and B) while free speech exists with the government, our ability to say what we feel is restricted to only being politically correct. I don't feel bad for Hogan, but I can't condemn him. There are other celebrities who have done much worse than just saying racist remarks. Bill Cosby immediately springs to mind. And, btw, as a minority myself, let me say that not everything everybody says indicative of one being a racist. For example, if I'm irritated and mad at something infuriating you did, I don't think I'm alone in saying that I would want to insult you. What will affect you more? Calling you a bigoted term, or calling you a jerk? Maybe in the decades that have passed, the latter would be all that you needed, but to paraphrase Bret Hart, the days of saying aw shucks are over.

Was he drunk? Why would he say those things, let alone allow them to be recorded?

They should put Curtis Axel on Tough Enough and pretend its still Hogan. Don't even mention it's not him.

The WWE is so childish and draws more attention to themselves when they do stuff like this and completely remove every mention of a guy's name from the record books. With Benoit, yes I can totally understand because that was a disgusting tragedy. But with something like this, I don't get it. He didn't commit a crime, and the WWE had plenty of racist moments throughout its own history that they never had a problem with.
