less than 2 weeks to go until I see Dr Strange......I'm really looking forward to it whilst tempering expectations.

I mentioned Shang Chi in the Marvel figure thread; got me thinking it'd be great down the line to see a Netflix iteration in the vein of what we've been seeing for The Defenders...

Doctor Strange is under 2 hours..
That's a first isn't it?

Got 2 Episodes left of Luke Cage. The show picks up quite a ing bit around episode 8. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. My biggest gripe is still the "villains". The worst part is that I LOVE the Shades character but he's always someone's bitch/lackey. I think he should have been a bigger deal. Would have liked to see him play a more crucial role for sure. He's like Mike from Breaking Bad. He's not supposed to be a main player but you can't help but find him to be more interesting than people that are supposed to be above him in the big picture.

I really enjoyed the Cage series but after Kingpin, Hand & Purple Man? Cottonmouth was weak sauce as a villain. They also should have used Kingpins fall more as a storyline prop for Cottonmouths activities. He seemed to control everything but Cottonmouth seemed to have nothing to do with him? Strange.

I really enjoyed Cottonmouth's story as a character, but as a villian, yeah... he really wasn't fantastic. Granted, he wasn't the "real" villian of the show. If anything, he was mainly there to further Black Mariah's descent into darkness, and give Luke a reason to stop sitting on the sidelines/draw him out for Diamondback.

I'll eventually go back and watch Luke Cage.. I kinda quit on episode 3..
The acting is really bad.. Mike Colter is a piece of wood.

I just finished Luke Cage. And I'm honestly VERY let the down. That was the worst ending of any of these Netflix shows by a LAND SLIDE. I feel like I just watched 13 episodes of a show and got absolutely no pay off from it. Anyone else feel like that? This sucks because I really enjoyed the show and then nothing is resolved by the ending. I guess I expected a pay-off and we just don't get one....

It felt kind of like The Wire to me. He wins the battle, but the war goes on. It moved everything forward for Defenders/second season.

It just left me feeling a little unfulfilled. Every other Netflix show so far has had some kind of pay-off. They could have at least tied up one end of the story. Instead they left everything wide open. Just not my preference.

The only thing really left loose is Black Mariah/Shades, and most of the season was spent positioning them as the next big bads. Bobby Fish found the papers exonerating Luke, so either he'll get off, or maybe Matt/Foggy get him off in Defenders.
Black Mariah getting off also further set Misty up for the future, with her clearly losing faith in the system. All in all, I think it just did a fantastic job of setting up the future of the show.

Now that I've let it sink in it wasn't THAT bad. I guess I'm just not a huge fan of having multiple cliff hangers. A big part is knowing that it will be a LONG wait for another season of Luke Cage or The Defenders. I still wish they would have capped something off fully in the finale.

I saw that Favreau is going to be in Spiderman: Homecoming reprising his role of Happy Hogan. This is the first time he's been in a movie since Iron Man 3, isn't it?

I don't know about a whole series of Black Widow movies, but I really want one because i think it would be great and that Scarlet deserves it

Interesting idea. I don't know about a series...but one or two could be nice. I could definitely see a black ops spy thriller kind of feel to her movies. I'd be down for that!

I think Cages finale is directly tied to the Defenders setup personally......but that's just me mind you. It feels like a setup to me in the vein of Cap:TFAs ending. Don't wanna say too much obviously but thats what it feels like to me
Black Widow getting a movie would be awesome IMO......a series of movies? I genuinely don't object because I feel the stories and fan interest are there.

How you constantly explain the title of the film you're eagerly anticipating watching in early November
