The Black Order looked REALLY good as well. Found this online. AVENGERS INFINITY WAR teaser description.... I was reading that people that saw the trailer are starting to speculate that Spider-Man tries to take on Thanos by himself when Thanos first arrives on earth.. And Thanos just viciously beats Spider-Man down. Would be a powerful scene. And would honestly give Spider-Man such a large sentimental boost.. After a scene like that, the kid wouldn't be able to do any wrong in the eyes of the audience.. And would effectively make him the Phase 4 leader. Give him heart like THAT!

I dunno how I would rank the Spidey movies but the love Spidey 2 gets baffles me. Its a great movie but Raimi let the show down with his watery Doc Ock. Ill stand by that opinion always. I prefer both Garfield movies to Spidey 2. I think them doing a different version of Doc Ock is completely acceptable because the movie is great.. If we got a watered down Doc Ock AND the movie was mediocre, then I'd understand your issue. But I'd much rather watch a really good movie with tweaked characters than a really bad movie with true to form characters. The characters motivation is completely pointless if the plot is garbage.

With all this hype regarding the D23 showing I'd be shocked if they didn't have a quick teaser for Infinity Wars at SDCC for the public. Not as much as they revealed at D23, but something to appease fans. Yes we have Thor and BP coming before it, but fans are going nuts right now for Inifnity Wars.

That's your opinion Word™ and your welcome to it but I don't agree. Raimis fascination with making the villains "ok guys" was TIRESOME. Also He wasn't tweaked.....Ock was completely changed. If he felt the need to use ones of these guys who wasn't really bad-then use the f*ckin Lizard & be done with it. For my $$$ SM2 was good with flashes of brilliance and that's it.

Yeah I definitely think Spider-Man 2 is one of the best comic book movies ever made.. Top 5.. It holds strong. If the only issue you have with the whole movie is Doc Ock, that's pretty good honestly.. I don't know much about comic book Doc Ock but I really loved his motivation in the film.. Outside of your criticism of Doc Ock, what else do you dislike about it? Plus adding to your OK guys comment, I really thought Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin was pure evil.. As soon as he drinks that formula he becomes a total psychopath and that's who he is until he dies.. Now Sandman on the other hand.. That's when I got completely tired of the "nah he's alright" repeat.. I really hated Raimi's Sandman.

Topher Grace was beyond a joke as Eddie Brock. I kept expecting Red Foreman to show up and kick his butt.

He's always playing the same guy, he's playing Eric Forman. I like to pretend sometimes that THAT'S what Eric did when he left Wisconsin.

I wasn't big on the pacing or the Spidey losing his powers thing......still find it watchable BTW.....but it probably would crack the top 15 for me. maybe the top 20?

My biggest takeaway from this conversation: they should totally do a That '70s Show: Spider-Man 2 parody movie.
Eric as Spider-Man; Donna as MJ; Kitty as Aunt May; Red as J. Jonah Jameson; Kelso as Harry; Bob as Doc Ock; Hyde as Jameson's son; Jackie as Betty Brant.
... Crap, I actually want this now.

To add to the Rami films debate...
By the time the third move rolled around, I didn't give two sh*ts if Peter and MJ ended up together or not. They were the whiniest couple I've ever seen. I just couldn't stand them. Say what you will about the Webb movies, but I felt a connection to Peter & Gwen. Their chemistry jumped off screen.
I liked Dafoe's performance, but I despised the Green Goblin suit. I've posted videos on here of the suit they were testing out, and it was MILES better. The one they used looked too much like a Power Ranger villain IMO. We've yet to get a definitive Goblin.
Doc Ock was okay. I liked Alfred Molina, but I want my Doc Ock to be an evil mastermind. Not being controlled by his mechanical arms because of a faulty neural inhibitor chip. To me, that ruined Molina's stellar performance.
I also hated his reliance in having Spidey removing the mask in crucial moments. The train scene was cool, but him unmasking ruined it for me. Everyone saw his face and I didn't like it. I know they want the emotion to be seen, but save that for moments between Peter & MJ. Plus Tobey made some goofy ass faces, and the mask would have helped that.
Spider Man 3 was a mess. Having Sandman as an accomplice to Uncle Ben's death was dumb. Having Sandman being another villain who was really a cool guy was dumb. Harry having amnesia was dumb. Having Harry's butler waiting 3 films to tell Harry Spider Man didn't kill his father was dumb. The Dancing Emo Parker scene was embarrassing. Having Sandman not really be the one to shoot Uncle Ben was a cop out. IMO Topher Grace would have been fine as Brock had he not been shoe-horned into a movie that the director didn't want him in.
I can watch the Rami films to this day. And I still enjoy them for the most part. But IMO they're flawed.

I just couldn't stand them. Last time I rewatched 1 & 2 I couldn't help but notice how truly god awful of a person MJ was.. By the time I rewatched the 3rd film I legitimately hated Mary Jane. She has ZERO redeeming qualities as a character throughout the entire trilogy.. The guy who plays Maximus is really bad at delivering dialogue.. I'm not impressed with any of the cast whatsoever, but that guy seems to be really bad at acting.

At least she made him cookies.

I immediately marked out at Buena Vista Home Video. Also, that guitarist in that Hasselhoff music video is a handsome man.
