Watched Iron Man 2 for the first time since it came out, and honestly I don't get why people rank it so long. I thought it was a strong follow up. Vanko was a decent enough villain. Sam Rockwell was perfect as Justin Hammer. Tony vs himself was pretty well played out. My only complaint is that I've never liked the recasting of Roadie. Don Cheadle is a phenomenal actor, I just have never enjoyed him in the role. But yea, dug the movie. Then again, I have highly enjoyed all the Marvel movies since Phase I. Yes, even The Dark World. I think Iron Man 2 is a great sequel, honestly.. It ranking so low is definitely a testament of how good the MCU has been in recent years.. Considering Iron Man 2 was only the 3rd movie released in the entire thing is pretty impressive. I agree with everything you've said. My biggest complaint at the time was it tried to do too much. They set up the Avengers, introduced Black Widow and War Machine while replacing Terrance Howard.. And if I recall, Feige wasn't in total control at that point in time and Favreau was very unhappy. It was kind of off putting to see, after Tony took time to figure out how to control the suit, Roadie just stepped into it and was good to go with no issue. Yea, I know he is a pilot, but damn.

I don't hate Iron Man 2, but I guess I just find it underwhelming. I've probably seen it two or three times by now and it's never really done anything for me. I wouldn't call it a bad movie though, it's just a little forgettable.

It's almost been a month since I saw Spider-Man: Homecoming, and I have some thoughts on it now that time has passed.. First off I definitely think it was a solid movie, I don't really think it did anything wrong it's just that I don't really care about it.. Like I'm in no big rush to see it again. But I DO look forward to watching it again.
However I'm REALLY excited for Spider-Man being apart of Avengers and other ensemble MCU films moving forward.
My personal opinion, it was too soon.. Spider-Man has been handled so poorly since 2007 and even though we're all EXTREMELY lucky Marvel got him back before doing further damage, some damage has been done for me.
And the marketing for Homecoming was a giant reminder of how bad Sony has damaged Spider-Man.. I thought the marketing was bad.. Every aspect of Homecoming that Sony took part in, was dog sh*t.
idk, just my two cents.. I know I'm in the minority here.

This show might be the first live action comic based show or movie I don't even watch. That sure as hell surprised me.

I'm willing to give Inhumans a chance, but damn is it going to be a long 5 months until AOS comes back.

Inhumans looks like utter trash..
Marvel should be ashamed of this.

Brolin looks awesome. I noticed he was looking incredibly swole at SDCC. So pretty amped at how his look has turned out. The key with Cable and Deadpool is always going to be the comedic dialogue between them, but my expectation is that this should be magical. Feels like perfect casting to me.

See, now THAT is how you make something from the comics look realistic while still easily being identifiable to the fans.
I'd wager that Liefeld is somewhere screaming "HE NEEDS MORE POCKETS" though.

What's the deal with the bear Hope Summers That would be extremely thought out. Fox doesn't do that.

Hope Summers That would be extremely thought out. Fox doesn't do that. I don't really think she's going to be in the movie, it's most likely something they added into the promo shots for the fans, but I'm going to say it's definitely possible. Deadpool, and so far DP2, have both seemed to be real labors of love. I could see them going all in on this one to set up DP3 and X-Force for the future.

Maybe they are working on the right level.
