Saw it today and I loved it. The humor was spot on. The acting was great. And the story was well told. No real complaints.
Not sure where I'd rank it. I won't know till I own it and watch it a couple more times.

Saw it and loved MOST of it. I enjoyed the humor and really liked the scenes with Dr Strange
What I could have done without is everything involving Hulk, Sakaar, Grandmaster, all of it. Did not like Hulk/Banner in this movie at all.
Being such a big part of the movie, it’s hard for me to rank it that high in the grand scheme of the MCU stuff. But when I think back I really enjoyed Thor, Loki, Korg (LOVED!), Hela, Skurge, Heimdall, Valkyrie was alright.
My top 5
Guardians 2 Guardians 1 Civil War Age of Ultron probably Ragnarok

I thought there were way too many jokes To the point it made it cringeworthy. Thor should not be throwing out quips like Spidey.
It was ok. Fun enough. 6.5/10. One of my least favorite MCU films easily though. All the characters besides Cap are just beginning to feel exactly the same now is my issue

Saw it for a 2nd time last night. Enjoyed it the first time but really loved it the second. It’s a fun space adventure with memorable moments and great jokes. You can tell that they gave it a more GOTG feel and it worked.
8/10

Thor Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin all day...the song fit so well within the film especially in the fight scenes but also it just fits the character so well
I saw the film on opening night and I will say Hela is the best villain in the MCU hands down

Loved Karl Urban as Skurge and why? Skurge yeah he is a villain but he is more or less a villain who you could sympathize with and without giving too much away he was a character who was forced to do evil against his will or because he felt like he had no other choice especially when he became Hela's executioner joining her but Skurge of course had his funny moments too before it all gets too serious for him

The only problem with Disney buying 21st Century Fox is that Disney doesnt make R Rated films. So while they pick up X-Men & Fantastic 4, movies/characters like Deadpool, Logan, Blade etc would need to be drastically changed if not dropped altogether at worst case scenario. Technically they could release them under Touchstone pictures and just not have them in the MCU though.

Well rumors are that either Blade will be part of the Netflix group or will appear in one of the franchises as Feige has said they plan to use him. Logan was a one off R rated X-men project. Deadpool would most likely be on Touchstone as you said. But that’s assuming Disney doesn’t keep 21 Century Fox around a closes ot.

Technically they could release them under Touchstone pictures and just not have them in the MCU though. Kevin Feige has stated that they wouldn’t be opposed to releasing an R rated MCU film. They just haven’t found a character that they feel would benefit from an R rating over PG-13 (Punisher is on Netflix). If they ever got the X-Men I can see Disney finding a way to release an R rated Deadpool movie. Maybe not released under the “Disney” label but they own subsidiary companies that have released R rated films that they could release a movie like Deadpool under.

I may be alone on this but, I'd be willing to lose a few f-bombs and a titty shot for Deadpool movies, if it means we'll get Hulk vs Wolverine. Or a good Fantastic Four. Or The X-Men all in the MCU.
The positives outweigh the negatives 10 fold IMO. No question.

I mean, Miramax used to be under the Disney umbrella. I don't really think it would affect Deadpool, tbh.
Either way, the talks are said to be dead now anyways.

- I thought Thor was amazing. In my top 5 MCU movies.
- I really wish F4 would fall back to Marvel. They're perfect for the MCU and Doom and Silver Surfer need MCU screen time.
- I was the most excited for getting Blu-ray editions of the Star Wars OT theatrical release. That's probably the biggest injustice. That and we just need more X-Men merchandise from Hasbro and in general.
- I'm not particularly sad about not getting X-Men in the MCU. I don't think they fit, outside of Jackman crossing over as Wolverine, and I don't think the MCU has the right tone for the X-Men. So they would almost need to be done in their own bubble and then crossed over when appropriate imo. DofP, Deadpool and Logan were all great movies. I'm happy with the diversity we have right now and willing to see where Fox goes with Dark Phoenix and Gambit. I'd hate to see anything happen to the future of Deadpool/Cable/X-Force when they have the casting for Deadpool and, seemingly, Cable so perfect.

I'm really enjoying inhumans.
Episode four just started. Binge watching all of it before the finale.

Ragnarok was brilliant. not only is it comfortably the best Thor movie? Its one of the finest entries in the MCU. I enjoyed it more than Dr Strange, GOTG 2 & Spider Man. And I LOVED those. And man....there are consequences in this movie. Blanchett is brilliant as Hela too.... Saw Ragnarok the Friday before last and loved it too. Cinema was about half full and there were so many laughs from them at what was happening. Best moment for me was "Loki, look who it is!" *Loki has visible flashbacks to the puny god incident.* And I agree with Blanchett. Hela instantly became one of my favourite villains and would love to see more about her. Her introductory scene was badass and Cate made her look hot as .

Idk. I like it though. Then again I liked iron fist too and everyone seemed to hate it. I liked Iron Fist, but goddamn, Inhumans feels like some cheesy '80s TV movie. I have found it fun to watch and laugh at how bad it is (especially compared to AoS).
