Yup Punisher was excellent. Its my favourite of the Netflix shows to date.
Punisher DD season 1 DD season 2 JJ Defenders Cage Iron Fist
I defo enjoyed JJ more than Cage & The Defenders....both of which I enjoyed just not as much. Looking back? Iron Fist was very bland indeed.

Ya know, on the last page I said some of the things I felt GOTG 2 failed on. But one thing they did very right is the emotion. Especially at the end. I just watched it again for probably my fifth or sixth time and I was still crying like a giant man baby.
That's something you don't get from comic book movies very often.

Rumor is that Sofia Boutella (from the bad Mummy movie) is cast as Death in Avengers 4. Unless it's a end credit scene, I don't know if I buy it.

I guess Chris Hemsworth wants to extend his MCU contract. He was ready to walk away but Ragnarok & The Infinity War movies has sparked his love for the character.
He also wants a Thor & Wolverine team up film. That's be cool, but it better be after we get the Hulk vs Wolverine film. Just saying.

He said Thor and Deadpool would be fun and I definitely agree

Everything Hemsworth does outside of Thor is mediocre.....I don't blame him for wanting to stay. I hope he canned the agent that advised him to take the part in the GB remake.

It'd be one thing if he was in other blockbuster franchises. But Thor is pretty much all he has going for him at the moment. I'd personally milk that cow till it was on it's last breathe.

Wasn't he married to the Audrey in the vacation remake lol. That sums up everything he does outside of Thor. Plus dear lord the singing baboon from the office was rusty.

Isn’t he part of the Star Trek franchise? I have watched the last few but I read they brought him back.

I know he played Kurt’s father in the first. But he was killed off. Not sure if they are bringing him back or not. Would be wise if they did, since he does add some name value.

Rumors are they are writing a Black Widow movie. Which might be okay if they tell her back story and make it like a spy thriller.
I KNOW they'll NEVER do this. But what I would love is for them to do a movie about Black Widow and Hawkeye's debriefing of the events in Budapest. Have it where they are both giving their accounts and while they sorta match up, they're still completely different. Make it an action comedy meets The Office.

Ah, so the Bad Blood episode of The X-Files. I can get behind it. "That is... essentially... exactly the way it happened."

I watched Spider-Man Homecoming on DVD last night (after getting it for Christmas) I only saw it once in the theatre, but watching it again the second time. Something was just a little off. I enjoyed it, but not as much as the first time and I will go as far to say that the casting of Flash Thompson in this movie is the worst casting in the whole MCU to say I hate it is an understatement. One thing that I will say is that scene in the car when The Vulture figures out who Peter is, is freaking awesome.
Flash Thompson.... WTF how did that did ever get cast as Flash Freaking Thompson.

Yeah it definitely wasn’t a bad movie by any means, but we’ve seen better Spider-Man movies. There was just nothing eye-catching or memorable in this one, sure, Keaton is great as Vulture. But that was about it. I think the Vulture character was kinda weak to start out as the first major antagonist. They definitely need a big villain in the sequel. I also agree, the guy who played Flash was straight terrible. Not even remotely close to the comic version, nor did they even try. Trying to portray him as a nerd too was just ridiculous.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt, for now, but word going around now is that Tom Holland is secretly in the Venom movie.

On one hand, Sony would be collosal morons not to tie Venom into the current Spider-Man franchise. On the other, I hate the idea of Venom being rushed into the franchise, so if a cameo does happen, I hope there's a slow build of Venom coming in to any actual Spidey movie.

If I had my way, the symbiote would be tied into the events of Infinity War. Either when Peter goes to space to fight Thanos (if he does). Or maybe have the GOTG inadvertently bring it to earth with them. It would be a great way to build up the Homecoming sequel since it's supposed to take place immediately after IW part 1.
