Its great news and shows that Disney supports the marvel brand 100%.....and that Perlmutter has been found out. Great news IMHO.

From what I understand Perlmutter didn't want the MCU to make GOTG or Ant Man. And he somehow screwed up Ant Man's placement in the MCU. And I guess he was also very cheap with everything especially the talent contracts. So by cutting him out, they should have free range to run things their way from here on out. Here's a link that sums it up the best... MCU/Marvel split

I'm okay with Hulk not being in Civil War. If anything I'd be happy with an after credit scene that shows where he is.

100% Correct decision by Feige and co. Civil War is stacked enough(maybe too much so) and the inclusion of Hulk was overkill and made little sense given the conclusion of AOU. Hopefully this puts to bed the rumors about Ross turning into Red Hulk(which I never really bought anyway)

I want a post-credits scene with the Hulk's ship crashing onto a planet in space and maybe if they went further, they could have like him crashing wakening up a sleeping Peter Quill and he goes to the window of his ship and looks out in awe

It would be cool if the Collector had zapped him up and in the post credit scene of GOTG vol 2? Quill and co rescue him.....man oh man. Also that Misty Knight casting is superb.

The plane at the end of AOU I was thinking; do we know that it cant handle space? Also if not that, say he is just flying around and Thanos does something and sends him into space? Gets Thanos some interaction finally with the team, and gives Hulk a reason to fight with the GOTG against Thanos, and eventually this can lead to the entire Avengers and GOTG teaming up to fight Thanos

I don't want Hulk to have any interaction with Thanos until Infinity War.....so that's not for me really.....LOL

Marvel's LUKE CAGE Adds Mahershala Ali As Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes Also added Sons of Anarchy star Theo Rossi as the villainous Shades (a.k.a. Alvarez). Little is know about this interpretation of the character at this point, but he's described as being "relentless and menacing, smooth and manipulative, street smart and controlling."

I know very little about Luke Cage, but from Marvel and Netflix's track record, I'm excited.

Reports are now that Kevin Feige threatened to quit if Disney didn't do something about Perlmutter. I guess Perlmutter wanted them to cut the budget for Civil War. Much like he did with AOU. I guess he's a notorious penny pincher and that was ruining the vision Feige has for the MCU. And Disney now considers AOU to be a failure because the reviews & profits didn't live up to the first Avengers film.
Disney wasn't willing to let Feige leave, so Perlmutter was removed as the middle man. The more power Feige has, the better off we all are.

Man I really don't think Disney consider AOU to be a failure.....if they do they are NUTS. Budget: 280 Million against a gross of 1.4 Billion. 6th Highest grossing movie of all time Broke Imax opening record previously held at WB by DKR fastest movie to crack 40 million at Imax Worldwide opening is the 5th largest ever. Also it has become "cool" to hate on marvel and their movies and despite this? AOU still did fantastic reviews in a overwhelming majority. Plus its opening weekend was dented(but not as much as was projected) by the DIRE Mayweather/Pacquiao fight. If Disney consider AOU to be a failure? Their expectations need to be managed....they have reached WB levels of idiocy in this respect. But I really doubt that aspect of the story regarding Perlmutter is true.....at least I hope to f*ck it isn't. Disney came 3rd in a race with something they couldn't really compete with..... F&F 7 was a fluke......because of Walkers untimely and tragic passing it did numbers it wouldn't have scratched.... because it BLEW. TDK also received this kind of bump from Ledgers tragic demise....but it deserved it, it was awesome. Jurassic world.......NOBODY seen this glorious return coming. We had all hoped it would be great but my GOD the business this did......also this is a "side door" win for Disney. Pratt is their guy......and now thanks to GOTG and JW he is a banker......people will FLOCK to GOTG2 and Indy if he scores that part.

I still don't think anybody at Disney thinks its a failure though.....that's just insane. now heres a failure......Tranks FF is on course to lose at least 100 million....no WAY Fox greenlights a sequel here.
