The synopsis of Thor:Ragnarok was "leaked" today. Here's a video of what the report says...
If it's true, it sounds awesome.

I'm in favor of Giancarlo Esposito getting an Marvel role. I really hope they give him something in one of the movies.

I absolutely love Esposito and think he would make a kick ass Marvel villain.. But not for Norman Osborne. Between the cast of the new Spider-Man film and Jamie Foxx being cast as Electro in TASM2, I'm honestly wondering if these casting decisions are more of a Sony thing than a MCU thing.. We all know Sony retains some rights to the whole process, and they love to do head scratching expletive. This is kinda random blue, but I think the movie industry would be better off if Sony just shut down its movie division.

Agreed - I love Esposito too, and not just for Breaking Bad...'Fresh', Revolution' and 'The Usual Suspects' come to mind... I know it would be much for the comic book film industry if Sony did that - it seems the rights to characters we know Marvel Studios would knock out of the park seem to be just spinning their wheels at Sony...Deadpool the only obvious exception, apart from what made Hugh Jackman famous... I have no idea what character Esposito could portray in a film - his skill set is impressive but how to translate it to a film in the MCU...could be an opportunity for a Heimdall moment.

Deadpool worked because you had people that cared about the source material, that's why the X-Men films IMO haven't been any good. I seem to remember both James Marsden & Hugh Jackman being told not to read any of the comic books & ignore them, they even couldn't get over a wall in their suits when they first started filming the 1st "X-Men" movie. And I still think Jackman's only famous because he played such an iconic character that a lot of people really enjoyed & got his big break from that. That and his character was really easy to dress up as. Still would like a shorter actor to play Logan who can at least have huge bushy sideburns.

A few years back, I really wanted Manu Bennett to play Wolverine. He's 5'11 so he's a lil shorter than Jackman's 6'2.

Simple... Would you have picked Tessa Thompson to play Valkyrie? Nope, my vote was for either Riley Keough or Gwendoline Christie.

They have made Marvel characters into huge brand icons. Captain America 3 beating Batman vs Supermans box office is proof of their success making Marvel into a juggernaut.

Sony still have a 1-up on any Marvel movie in my book with Deadpool.
In fact, only 1 in my top 5 favorite comic book movies is a Marvel one. -Spiderman (Raimi) -Spiderman 2 (Raimi) -Blade 2 -Deadpool -Guardians of the Galaxy
Though Avengers is right after that.
