Grabbed an extra HOF and CAW a few days ago at target I'd love to to have an extra DM and WM 30 Basic to make a 2003 Hogan but I'll pass for now, not sure I really need to spend $40+ to make that custom (pants from Ralph)

...I don't get why it's "sad" or "pathetic" to stock-up on or buy Hogan figures? We know Mattel won't be making any more, so for some people - who either didn't buy any Hogan figures yet or were on the fence or waiting for a different attire - of course they're going to want to go and buy one or some of the ones already available, while they can. Makes perfect sense to me... Anyway, I bought 6 Hogans over the weekend(!): 2 DM, 2 Elite 34, the Sig Series Basic (£5 in Smyths) and Basic 48. I plan on making : - an NWO Basic - an NWO Elite - a red-shirt/80's Elite - a "Hulk Rules" Elite - a Wrestlemania 2 Basic (w/shirt and headband) - a "Still Rules" Elite I'm hoping to get a couple more HOF figures too, once they hit the UK. I'm just disappointed that we will probably never get a real Hollywood Hogan or a 2002 Hulk Still Rules Undisputed Champion attire. Mattel really sat there with their thumbs up their asses and wasted over a year of Hulk Hogan being under contract and managed to get out pretty much NONE of his iconic attires. Not getting out a 90's Hogan, an nWo Hollywood Hogan, and a 2002 Hogan are pretty much a shame for figure collectors. I would have preferred those over what we ended up getting. I agree... Mattel/no-one was to know this would happen - but they had to wait 5 years to get Hogan under licence: given that and the on/off relationship between Hogan and WWE since the '90's, why not just make his 3 most iconic looks (Classic/NWO/Still Rules) first - then mess about with variations and things like the American Made and WM9 Hogans? #BallDropped

The figure is based on a point in his career when he was at his thinnest. It's very accurate actually. I love (not really) how some people's ignorance is to blame for everything. It isn't that Mattel made the figure wrong. It's actually that Mattel made the figure completely accurate, and some people don't know what the hell they're talking about. I will give some people the benefit of the doubt that maybe they just don't take notice of such changes in people. I, however, remember being like 8 asking my dad what happened to Hulk Hogan's muscles lol

I bought a DM Hogan and Signature Hogan on the Thursday afternoon. Friday morning hits and I feel lucky that I got them now. I really feel like I should get another 1 or 2 DM Hogans.

Picked up a pair of HoF Hogans yesterday(for custom parts/in case the other one breaks), one has a silly error, he's got no eyebrows and the right eye is completely dark brown, I'd say the eye makes it more accurate, but then there's the lack of eyebrows.

I wasn't really planning on stocking up on duplicate Hogans (I have everything Mattel put out for him already), but happened by a Target this past Saturday and saw they had two HOF. Decided to go ahead and get him to keep him MOC. At this point, glad I did with all these threads I keep reading on here. Not to mention, I've been to two other Targets since this week started and no sign of any Hogan figures at all.

I resisted the HOF Hogan for a while, but I got it last Friday because I was afraid they would recall his figures. I have to say, after buying the figure and taking it out of the box, I really like it. Online and in pictures, the figure doesn't look as good as in real life when you actually have it. I still would have been disappointed if DM Hollywood was a straight up REPAINT of the HOF figure (because that's what the CG image looked like), but it wouldn't have been TERRIBLE....it just wouldn't have been worth the price of a DM. We get 2 Basics and an Elite which represent him currently, the DM and Basic 48 which represents WM3, and a figure of WM9 for some reason....but most people probably think of him like this: Instead of this: Not getting out a 90's Hogan, an nWo Hollywood Hogan, and a 2002 Hogan are pretty much a shame for figure collectors. I would have preferred those over what we ended up getting. Agree with every word of this.

Its sad that it has to take something like this for ppl to buy hogan figures Hogan figures never shelfwarm, but when WWE is telling Mattel to stop making them and stores to remove them, of course demand is going to increase even more. For the OP, I purchased a B48 Hulkster on Friday when this all broke out. I would also buy his DM figure, but they've been sold out at my TRU for a while now. I passed on the Mr America CAF set and his E34 since I am most interested in buying 80s Hogan figures in yellow trunks and red knee pads.

I had a Hogan Create a Superstar not ring up at Target today. It seems that this is a common problem. Has anybody had this happen with other CAS figures or Hogan figures at Target?

I picked up the HOF hogan a day or so after everything happened. Also, i really like how Funko POP gave us a Hollywood Hogan Pop Vinyl before Mattel gave us a figure. oh well, i was thinking about doing a straight repaint with the HOF 2 Hogan to make a hollywood hogan, but i have never did anything like that withba figure before so I wouldn't know what to do.
