I will forever chuckle at a certain person's reply to me when I read threads like this.

I said yes, but I think we should just be remembering Piper not requesting figures of him. I don't think he got a legends deal now. I'm fine with my t shirt series Piper. RIP Roddy, you were one if the greats. Piper should get thread after thread as he was a great man unlike Hogan.

There's no time I wouldn't have thought. I think they'll just move the one after forward as opposed to a new one. Piper warrants an elite for sure

Even if there were a figure that was completed and ready to ship, Mattel would have held it up to avoid appearing as though they were capitalizing on his passing, similar to how they handled E 26 Warrior. But the WWE reportedly let Piper out of his Legends deal a few weeks ago, so there were no plans to release one any time soon anyway. We wouldn't have seen him take Hollywood's spot if he hadn't have passed.
As much as I want to see a Roddy Piper figure done as a DM or in the Hall of Fame line, I don't see it happening for a couple years. Dusty Rhodes, maybe the second half of next year.

Bill said they're not gonna make figures of someone just because they passed.

Clown question bro... also I think he was the original DM they had to scrap because he lost his legends deal I would've put the house on Piper. It had to be him I seriously doubt it was going to be Piper. After his Entrance Greats and 2 pack were two of the biggest shelfwarmers of the early years of the line. Don't think they'd put out a $25.00 Piper You know they haven't got the balls to pull the trigger on the half black half white one, so what else could've been "huge" or "epic" in Bills words with Piper? I'd just love for him to have an updated Elite figure with a longer hair/better scan. Tons of people wanted this before his death. I'm sure that BS with Stone Cold will be forgotten and they'll get back on good terms with the family and continue on with their Legends arrangement soon. After all he was one of the definitive and most important characters of the boom period of wrestling I was never a huge fan of his but the world lost a great great character too early (AGAIN!!)

I'd like a Piper Elite that doesn't suck like his Legends figure...
But...
I'd still rather get a Flashback Jericho DM!

I feel like they have dropped the ball on all three Piper releases. None were very good and none looked like him. I'm sure if the rights are there that we will see a definitive version of him.

Just as he said about Dusty and Warrior. He's not going to use their death as something to capitalize on and pump out tons of figs ,thinking about nothing but $$$$. Bill is a fan just like us. He respects these legends

Jesus, another one bites the dust. I was just thinking yesterday how cool a DM of his WM 8 look would be, also my copy of They Live just happened to arrive today. I don't even wanna watch it now, because it'll just bum me out.

Piper doesn't need to be a dm
I'd love an elite soon somehow
