All jokes aside, I really do hope Ryback has a speedy recovery.
I'm not the biggest Ryback fan in the world, but I'll admit that the Big Guy has definitely improved, both on the mic, and in the ring, in recent months.

Ryback vacating the belt? Sounds good to me. Yeah I love celebrating about other people's misfortunes. Far from that. Ryback has been a terrible champion. It's for the better if he vacated the belt and gave it to someone worthwhile. Xavier Woods, Bray Wyatt, Neville, Stardust, and Dean Ambrose are all worthy choices.

The fact that it went from Bryan to Ryback makes me sick to my stomach.

Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens at SummerSlam for the vacant title would be a dream match.

It's been 2 weeks and it still looks that bad How can't they treat a staph infection better? How has it gotten so out of control? Hard to treat it properly when you're running with docs who jump to "fatty deposit" first.

Yeah, people would bitch, and I get why people would bitch. It would be a good match, but at this point BOTH guys desperately need a big win. That's why I'm kind of not happy that Cesaro and Owens are feuding. If Cesaro loses, then this is how many times he's been built up only to lose the big one? He needs a BIG win. If Kevin Owens loses, then he's just continuing the slide that he's been on since his ONE big win way back at Elimination Chamber, which seems like ages ago at this point. Kevin Owens needs a win PERIOD. Kevin Owens and Cesaro are likely going to fight at SummerSlam regardless, it just probably won't be for the IC title....but regardless of the title, this will be a match that both men need to win, and neither man can afford to lose.

They keep booking feuds where neither guy can afford a loss and I don't get it. They've done it three times to Bray Wyatt (Ambrose, Undertaker and now Reigns).

If that title is cursed, keep it off Cesaro lol Seriously though, looks like they'd amputate it, I really hope he recovers soon.

Staph infections are no joke. it can take weeks or months to get better depending on how quickly it's diagnosed. A wrong diagnosis or delay can make it harder to treat as the bacteria can be more resistant to certain anti-biotic, depending how far in the body the infection is. hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

Yeah I wrestled for 7 years and we were educated all about Staph infections and MRSA. The fact of the matter is , either Ryback didn't go get it checked for weeks, or he kept going to the Doctors with concerns only to be turned away until it got ridiculously severe. And I highly doubt he would just ignore a skin infection on his knee. I've had very very small skin infections before from wrestling. And even miniature little ones hurt like a bitch. I can't even imagine the pain that one this size would bring.

Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens at SummerSlam for the vacant title would be a dream match. Please WWE, make our dreams come true! (but we will probably get Miz vs Big Show. Miz wins...)

They have time between now and SummerSlam to do a quick tournament to get a final or final four setup for the PPV. Might as well pull the trigger.
Owens and Cesaro have to be at the top of the IC Title list. I'd say Ambrose since his reign was kind of highjacked at the expense of Daniel Bryan, but he's tied up with the Wyatt/Shield stuff. All due respect to Cesaro right now, I'd put the title on Owens.

I can't even imagine the pain that one this size would bring. My best guess is that he figured he had something good going and didn't want to derail it. Either that or he just didn't know it was a staph infection until a doctor was like, "WHOA, that's a staph infection." If this was the WWE doctor misdiagnosing it again, this is a huge problem that HAS to be addressed. Two serious ones in the past two years is not a good thing. There needs to be better precautions too.

I don't really like Ryback, I find him boring, but this is sad. I do like Rybacks attires and when he calls people stupid.
