This sim is using the Aftermath of Attitude mod which takes place in 2010. A lot is different in the mod then in real life, so if something seems unrealistic that is why. After Hogan's first season of Celebrity Wrestling didn't do as good as he had hoped him and Jimmy Hart had a new idea, build a company based on the Legends who have made wrestling what it is. With Hogan's contacts, and money he was able to put together a decent roster. They held a couple of house shows where champions were crowned before landing a spot on Bright House Sports Network. Their debut show is right around the corner, and it will be interesting to see how the company will do with a roster of guys whose best days are behind them.

Having Big Bossman in this really raises questions of how much you actually know about these guys.

Having Big Bossman in this really raises questions of how much you actually know about these guys. Like I said in the intro I'm just going by how the mod was set up, it's not a realistic universe, but a fun one none the less. Obviously Bossman died way before 2010, but in the game universe he was still alive so I'm going with it. I know plenty about all these guys as it was the generation I grew up on. I'm not shooting for an ultra realistic diary.

It would be good to know the background of the Mod, what actually happened differently to real life. Obviously Bosman never died and Lawler has left WWE. Is this a mod from somewhere?

Lurk in here sometimes, just had to stop in and say I'd not watch this in real life, but I'm very intriguing by what you have in store as a sim. I'll be following this.

Many people considered 2001 to be the end of maybe the biggest era in wrestling, and a major slump for wrestling was soon to follow. AOL/Time Warner sold off WCW with Eric Bischoff and a group of investors from Panda Energy buying the company. They struggled for months to find a solid television deal, and WCW as we know it was almost completely dead. Eventually they signed a deal with Spike TV and became one of the big two again.
Meanwhile in the WWF things were a bit rocky for a little while, but with Triple H having more input, and the decision by Vince to push more youthful talent, the "New Era" has seen business pick back up for the worldwide leader of Sports Entertainment. They use Dusty Rhodes Florida Championship Wrestling for their future stars to learn the craft.
After TNN broke its contract with ECW Paul Heyman sued the current Spike TV, winning is what helped him keep the company afloat for a few years til it was making enough of a profit on its own. It is now undoubtedly the number 3 promotion, and closing in fast on WCW. While a business relationship with the WWE doesn't hurt either, they currently run on the sister station of USA, Syfy. They have even saved the former CZW by making it their development territory and rebranding in Extreme Combat Zone
When Flair had enough of WCW and refused a paycut he sat at home waiting for his contract to run out, once it did he decided to try and bring the NWA to prominence again by going back to Charlotte where it all began and reviving the slowly dying body of promoters. Though it hasn't made many ripples in the wrestling pool, it has developed some future stars. Several prominent territories have been added to the NWA as well as Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo run NWA-TNW and Harley Races NWA-WLW
In Canada Bret Hart has restarted his father's once dominant Stampede Wrestling back up, while his brother Owen who was paralyzed during a freak accident in 1999 runs their development known as Dungeon Wrestling. Many of the Hart children make up the rosters of both.
Hogan feeling as though he did not have the clout he once did in WCW, and thinking Vince would gladly take him back decided to let his contract run out, though he did make a one off appearance at Wrestlemania 20 Vince has had little interest since, leaving Hogan to try other ventures, including a reality TV show about his family which met with huge rating success, and a reality show where he trained celebrities to become wrestlers, which did not. While having dinner with Jimmy Hart and Brian Knobbs they talked about the golden days of wrestling, and how much they are missed. This was enough to get the ball rolling in Hogans head who wanted to do a tour with the Legends of Wrestling to generate a little revenue and have a little fun. It was a huge success all over the world, which led Hogan to doing another tour a year later, this time crowning champions, finishing off with a huge show at Madison Square Garden. When they saw how profitable the legends could be they started searching for a TV deal, which they eventually found. Though Bright House Sports Network is not a major network, only available in a small area, it is a step in the right direction Hogan believes, and plans on seeing the company continues into the future. The only debate is rather to integrate younger talent into the roster as suggested by Jimmy Hart, or continue with a strictly Legends format......

Yikes. Get to picking out some of the B-level indy promotions for talent, my man. That roster looks Heroes of Wrestling terrifying.

Hulk Hogan's Legends of Wrestling Presents: Legends of the Ring
Announcer: From Soundstage 21 in Universal Studios its Legends of the Ringgggggggggggg
We see video from the Legends of Wrestling tour, including the crowning of Kevin Nash as the Legends World Champion before going ringside to Mike Tenay, Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart.
Tenay: Ladies and gentleman welcome to the biggest gathering of legends in professional wrestling history!!!! Tonight we will see what will without a doubt be action packed and hard hitting action. We will have words from our Heavyweight champion Kevin Nash and our main event will be for the Legendary Tag Team Titles.
Lawler: I'll tell you what Mike, walking in the back earlier I couldn't believe the whose who of talent I passed, you had Jake Roberts, The Nasty Boys, Hall, Nash, some of the biggest players of all time, and man am I excited.
Hart: You know something professional wrestling has been missing something lately baby, and tonight we bring all that back.
Tenay: With that lets go to the ring for our first ever match on Legends of the ring
Match 1 Vampire Warrior Def. Koko B. Ware They say the first match sets the pace for a show......uhh oh. Both men seem to be in the....not so.....best shape of their careers. Koko did as much high flying as he could, but Vampire kept him grounded most of the match. Finish came when Vampire Warrior used his chalice against Kokos head for the win.
*Commercial Break*
When we return Demolition are standing by backstage
Ax: All these legends walking around back here can't hold a candle to the two men standing in front of you right now. Just like anywhere else we have ever gone, we have gold in our eyes, and will be by to collect very soon.
Smash: You know Ax I love to take things from people, and soon those tag titles will be another trophy on the Demolition mantle.
Match 2 Too Cool Def. The Headbangers A much better match then the first, these two teams can still go for the most part. The Headbangers kept Scotty in the match for the most part, and kept him in their corner, making several tags in and out. The finish came when Scotty got the tag to Brian who came in and cleared house. He hit the Hip Hop Drop on Mosh for the victory.
We go to the back where Hulk Hogan has just arrived via Limo
*Commercial Break*
Match 3 Too Cold Scorpio Def. Sean Waltman I'm gonna just go ahead and call this match of the night already. These are two men who can still go, and they did for this match. Scorpio used his ariel offense he is known for, while Waltman used his lightning quick speed. Finish came when Scorpio hit the 450 splash for the win.
*Commercial*
Match 4 Jerry Saggs Def. Jim Duggan As expected this match was just a pure brawl. The finish came when Saggs hit Duggan with an elbow drop?!? for the win.
We hear the familiar music of the Immortal Hulk Hogan who comes out the ring, we are going to hear from the man himself. He grabs a mic and steps in the ring, before he can say anything though he is attacked by the Big Boss Man with Slick, Hogan has been laid out and is not moving.
*Commercial*
Match 5 Kishi Def. One Man Gang W/ Slick A battle of the big men, Kishi can still move pretty good for a man his size, Gang has lost a lot of weight, and can still move semi decently. Finish comes when Kishi hits a rump shaker on The Gang for the 1-2-3
We get a video package of Kevin Nash defeating Scott Hall for the Legendary World title, then we see how Nash hit another powerbomb after the match on his former best friend.
*Commercial Break*
Match 6 Sid Vicious Def. Bushwhacker Luke This wasn't even a match, Sid dominated from the start, finish comes when he hits a chokeslam on Luke for the 3 count.
*Commercial Break* Main Event Legends Tag Title Match Legion of the Dog(C) Def. Rhythm and Blues Animal and Valentine start off the match, and Valentine pretty much works the whole match alone, finish comes when Animal hoist Valentine up and Steiner hits a bulldog for the victory. Very lackluster main event for sure.

News and Notes
Many people within Legends of Wrestling are said to be disappointed with how the tapings turned out, and don't think the show will make it based on the legends themselves. It seems Hogan is deadset against bringing in younger talent, and thinks the established names will bring in the crowd. Jimmy Hart on the other hand is pushing hard for a younger roster to mix in with the legends. Both men own 50% of the company, so it'll be interesting to see how things play out.
Some of the more dissapointing of the legends may not be brought back after this week, as Nash is the only one with an actual written contract, everyone else is on a pay by appearance deal.

Hulk Hogan's Legends of Wrestling Presents: Legends of the Ring Week 2
Announcer: From Studio 21 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, it's Legends of the Ringggggggggg
We see our opening video before going ringside to Mike Tenay and Jerry Lawler
Tenay: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Legends of the Ring, I'm Mike Tenay alongside Jerry "The King" Lawler and what a huge night we have for you. In our main event we will see Scott Hall against Sean Waltman with the winner getting a shot at Kevin Nash and the World Title. Now King, where is Jimmy Hart tonight?
Lawler: That's the million dollar question Everyone knows Jimmy is very prompt when it comes to any show he's on, so this is something unheard of. Now anyone with a computer knows that their is a little tension backstage between Hart and Hogan, does that have anything to do with this?
Tenay: I don't know King, hopefully we hear something by the end of the night, but right now let's head down to the ring and get our first match underway.
Match 1 KroniK Def. The Bushwhackers
Kronik makes their debut on tonight's episode. Both men still look in phenomenal shape, and they put a beating on the Bushwhackers. Finish came when they hit the High Times on Luke for the pinfall.
*Commercial*
We come back to a shot of the outside where Hogan arrives in his limo to the show. He heads straight to his office.
Match 2 Rhythm and Blues Def. The Headbangers
More tag team action here, back and forth match for the most part, finish comes when Valentine locks the figure four on Mosh and makes him submit.
We go backstage where we see Scott Hall warming up for his main event match tonight
*Commercial*
Match 3 Vampire Warrior Def. Jim Duggan
This match was a pure brawl from the start. Finish came when Duggan missed a three point and Vampire Warrior hit an implant DDT for the pinfall victory.
We go backstage and see Hogan heading towards the entrance way.
*Commercial*
When we return Hogan is in the ring posing for the fans
Hogan: Welcome Legendmaniacs, I must say this trip down memory lane has been nothing short of amazing, and I'm glad all of you are along for the ride. You know there's been a lot of chatter going on about some problems between myself and Jimmy Hart and let me say right now, this show is for you fans, and about the legends in the back and that will not change anytime soon. Now let me talk about what happened last week when The Big Boss Man deciding to attack me....
Some unfamiliar music hits, the camera goes to the entrance way, out comes Nigel Mcguinness!!!! He walks down to the ring and enters.
Hogan: Excuse me brother, I think you are at the wrong place. This show if for us Legends, who are you?
Mcguinness: Who am I? I am the future of this business. You know I walked through the back and all I saw was old beatdown fools hanging on to a dream that has long since been over, and for what? Another paycheck? Midlife crisis? You know I've been busting my ass in this business for quite sometime, I've built my name up, I've been the top drawl every single place I've been and you know what happens? People like you and your legends come to shows where I've made my name and you charge your huge booking fees, you get your paid airfare, you get your limo arrivals and you get yourself put over while guys like me who have to come back the next month are left to pick up the pieces. People like you Hulk hate change, but I'm here to let you know that change is coming, change is coming to this place and every pocket sucking promotion like you. The new era is standing up now, and we are taken our spots. Now we can do this two ways, you can come back to the locker room hand me my contract and give me my opportunity,, or I can make life a living hell for you and all your boys in the back.
Hogan: You in the back? How are you in our locker room? You haven't earned your spot brother.
Mcguinness: Your locker room? You can find me in Jimmy Harts locker room.
Mcguinness exits the ring and walks to the back as Hogan stands looking confused.
*Commercial*
Match 4 Too Cold Scorpio Def. Buff Bagwell A fast paced match for the most part, finish comes when Scorpio hits the 450 for the win.
*Commercial*
Legendary International Title Kishi Def. Big Boss Man Kishi spent the match overpowering Boss Man, finish came when he hit the Rump Shaker for the victory.
Backstage we see Nash laid out with Nigel Mcguinness standing over top of him.
*Commercial*
Match 5 Jake Roberts Def. Jerry Saggs Slow paced match with little actual wrestling. Jake hits the DDT for the victory.
Backstage we see Tammy Sytch talking to Rick Steiner?!?
*Commercial*
Match 6 Main Event Scott Hall Draws with Sean Waltman Decent match as Waltman can still go,Hall used his size to his advantage. Finish came when Justin Credible came out of the crowd and attacked both men. The show ends with Credible posing in the middle of the ring.
