One reason why i dont have children. While i was growing up if i did that my parents would take me home, spank me and send me to my room. People dont know how to parent anymore. As someone who was spanked, I dont think its the best way. Your subliminally saying to hit things that dont act the way you want then too. No, what im saying is children need discipline, im not saying beat the crap out of your kid, im saying one good spank and punishment works. If your child acts out like that i believe parents need to discipline them or they will continue to act like spoiled brats. Ive seen people who dont discipline and their children walk all over them. My parents raised me and my siblings the correct way through discipline and teaching us respect.

Kids nowadays are animals anyways - they got EVERYTHING and yet have NOTHING to do. So all they do is destroy other people's crap. It's SO F'N stupid. My mother ran a daycare for 20 years and it was like watching the slow decline of children...every 5 years they got worse lol But I digress... You did snitch lol you should have kicked them out yourself. I would have. I'd have said "I don't work here so I can kick y'alls lil monkey ass'!" lol You did do the right thing though - I see kids knocking crap off the shelves ALL THE TIME too. Savages. Just Savages. I even saw a kid rip open a toy in the store one day and I was like WOW - THAT's f'd up! NO home training.

I've run into similar things before. I normally also tell an employee and its a crap shoot on wether or not they care or do anything to stop them.
We are just too complacent and apathetic these days.

So I went to Target today usually go once a week to see what they have in the WWE section. I get there and there was like 3 11-12 yr olds in the WWE aisle. I saw them and tried to get a look at the figures but they were being nuts. One of them had a fart machine and was hitting the button nonstop, they were cussing saying all the toys sucked. This is poop this is crap this looks like a dookie. I walked off did a little bit of shopping and came back needed some dog food, and bath soap. So I was gone maybe a couple minutes tops. I came back and they were still there but they were taking the basics and saying this sucks and bending the card all the way back and hanging it on the peg again. I got in close maybe they would see me and get away because they wouldnt want to get caught messing with toys but they didnt care. Cussing the whole time and blasting the fart machine and destroying the stuff. One of them had one of those minecraft swords and was swiping all the figures on the floor and then kicking them. So I did what any responsible adult would do and told on them. I went to electronics and told them they were destroying the toys and kicking and knocking stuff all over the woman called a manager on her walkie talkie and I guess they got a team together to trap them in the aisle and surround them and take them out. There was like 5 or 6 employees all in the aisle with them talking to them. They definitely looked like they were in deep trouble. The woman I talked to in electronics did say she told them earlier they couldnt be running around in the store when they were by the video games and that is probably what made them go somewhere else to be savages. One of the kids looked so scared like he was ready to cry. They didnt have any elites out except for E32 Bryan and E34 Cena. So I wasnt gonna buy anything and they trimmed the section down a bit so there wasnt much of anything no defining moments or HOF even though it said there was some there probably just in the back. This happened awhile ago right before they moved the WWE section and all they had were basics out even though the tracker said there was some so I didnt bother asking or anything to see what they had in the back and left. I am a teacher in an, lets just say for political correctness, URBAN HOOD, and this is typical behavior. If they act like this when younger, and behavior is not corrected, they'll be just as awful when older.

You did the right thing, but I blame the parents clearly they didn't teach these kids about respect or manners.

I hate kids, teenagers, or any adults that mess around in the toy aisle, let alone the store.
You come there to buy crap and get out, it's not your personal jungle gym, that's what your home is for.
Some people... Haha.

That's still not as bad as ADULTS who STEAL figures and accessories, replace them with junk, and return them as an extra FU to everybody else, They're the lowest of the low IMO...At least with children, you expect immature and disgusting behavior(still not tolerable or acceptable BTW). I had morals and values instilled in me as early back as I can remember. So at the age of 5 or 6, I didn't even want to behave the way those 11 or 12 year old kids did. It didn't even cross my mind to act that way. It's not normal behavior and as said earlier, I blame their upbringing mostly.

something similar happened to me about 7 years ago I left school with some friends in the 7th grade and these 2 kids about our age were riding scooters through the store trying to steal things. They tried to talk to me and my friends and told us to steal with them and when we said no they snatched my bag and grabbed pokemon cards and got the nearest employee saying they caught me stealing. The employee said she watched the kids do what they were doing and then got mad at me for "getting them in trouble." and one of them tried to hit me with a scooter and we got into a fist fight and the employees had to pull me off of the kid and called both of our parents. The lesson I learned is as a kid I sucked and so do other kids, so in the end, it's probably worth it to pull out

I gotta be honest, if those kids would've been wearing nWo shirts and using black spray paint, I'd have had to cheer them on. Seeing how it doesn't seem that they were, I had to pull for you on this one.

My parents raised me and my siblings the correct way through discipline and teaching us respect. Although it requires more patience, incentive based parenting is what is preached these days. Rewarding positive behaviors will yield desired behaviors. IE telling your child he may have a toy if he he can be good in the store. He may not know how to stay good for a long period of time, try to remember what it's like. Kids struggle with acceptable behaviors and can be overwhelmed. The first time my daughter saw a TV show was when see was two. It was Barney and she was hell bent to get inside the TV and play with those kids. My son was the same way, but he thought if he shattered the glass, then he could play with them kids. Research learning stages and multiple intelligence. Perception is abstract to young children. Trust me, only people that never experienced childred will judge parents of kids throwing tantrums. These kids tho, sounds like they with make a lot of mistakes due to poor guidance. Not only is incentive based learning helpful with desired behaviors, but it also sets children up for adult success. Research motivation styles. It's possible for child use extrinsic motivations and convert them into intrinsic motivations. Teaching children to work toward goals distracts them from the negative behaviors. It's the same is true in a professional environment.

Terrible parents raise terrible kids and they grow up to be terrible adults. I'm sure the parent would complain to the manager about their garbage kids getting in trouble.
My parents raised me to respect other people's property and my own. I always took very good care of my things. I was always careful with other people's stuff and would always ask their permission to use it. Even today, if I'm at the toy aisle and I accidentally knock stuff over, I'll pick it up. Because I have dignity and respect.
