Dolph Ziggler is involved in a feud with Rusev, and Rusev and Summer are completely outshining Dolph and Lana. Now let's have a talk about Dolph and what he's doing as a face. It's so forced because his face promos are pretty terrible, his reactions are borderline heelish, his catchphrases, mannerisms, etc., they're all heelish, but he's going up against the foreign mega heel and is a face. This coming nine months or so after he beat The Authority at Survivor Series with Sting's help. My question is where can Dolph go from this feud?

Who knows at this point. He has been with the company for almost 10 years now and has really gone now where but float around in the mid card. Ziggler is one of my favorites in the company but honestly theres nothing really left for him to do unless he is in store for a major push.

Dolph Ziggler has had what happens to every heel that the fans turn face happen to him. The WWE makes them a cookie cutter white meat baby face that is all "I'm only here because of you fans! I love coming out here every week and giving it my all in this ring!" Thus completely ignoring all of the traits that made the fans gravitate towards them in the first place. It's happened to Sheamus, Miz, Ziggler, Del Rio, Cesaro to an extent, etc, etc. every face has to have the same personality of John Cena basically. The only exception is Orton, he seems to be allowed to keep a lot of his personality traits when going face to heel for the most part.

Honestly with influx of NXT guys being brought to the main roster I've cared less and less for his character. He's been on the roster for at least 8 years. If he hasn't done anything significant yet he probably won't.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Dolph is just riding the coattails of Lanas popularity.

When he was a heel, I said, "that guy is gonna make an awesome face, he could be the new face of the WWE" because he could talk and bring the fans in. I knew he could never be at the level of The Rock, but for this PG era stuff I figured he would be perfect. So he turns face and loses everything about him that was cool. WWE wants to keep Cena as the main guy, so you can't have anyone outshine him.

The only reason Ziggler got that moment at Survivor Series is because Roman Reigns was on the shelf. That was very clearly his spot, right or wrong.
And it's a shame. Ziggler is one my favorite guys on the roster, but it's clear as day that he's going nowhere. WWE doesn't see him as a legitimate player, and they've done virtually everything they can to ensure that he's a cookie-cutter, forgettable babyface.
The feud with Rusev is particularly troubling because, as usual, WWE has booked themselves into a situation where neither guy can afford to lose. They do this a lot. Rusev needs a win, Ziggler needs a win, and only one of them can get it.

Regarding Ziggler... I might be a good In Ring Worker and he is very Charismatic but him being a Face is just boring... Someone like Ziggler should be a Heel. Turn him Heel and let him feud with someone like Ryback for the IC Title or maybe put him into a Tag Team with someone like The Miz.
Regarding this Storyline... IMO it is just Terrible! Especially things like Rusev standing infront of Lana doing NOTHING! I know WWE is PG and violence against Women is a bad thing but come on! It's the WWE! It's Entertainment! And the only thing that would make this Storyline interesting(at least for me) are things like the Super Kick that nearly hit Summer Rea would have hit Summer Rea or because it would make more sense... If Rusev would do something to Lana... He does not even need to beat her up! Things like grabbing her Arm or after Summer Rea beat her up stand over her and let him "attempt" the Accolade before Ziggler would save Lana. Simple things like that could it make it much better... But in stead we get Dogs, Fishes and Stupid Stardowns!

I hate to say it, but Ziggler peaked a long time ago... I can't take anything he does seriously anymore.

He'll just float around. He doesn't have the charisma or ability to get any higher than where he is, but he's fine as a solid midcard babyface. He's carved a nice niche for himself and found a good spot that suits him.

He cared more about "stealing the show" and making the crowd ooh and ahh than being an actual heel. As for this angle, Rusev and Summer > Lana and Dolph.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Dolph is just riding the coattails of Lanas popularity. That's not the case. Dolph is a pretty popular midcarder on his own and still is. The pop he got on Monday wasn't because of Lana, it as because of him. Both are pretty popular. In this feud though, Rusev has outshined everyone. Rusev > Summer > Lana > Dolph.

I'm far more concerned about Rusev than Ziggler. Ziggler is a mid card main stay and has been for the majority of his career. Rusev on the other hand has the potential to become one of the top heels in the business. I honestly wouldn't mind Rusev squashing Ziggler for the sole fact that it's become obvious Ziggler is never gonna get to the main event level and Rusev still has that chance. Dolph might get another couple runs at a mid card title but that's about it. I do hope he stays though because he is an extraordinary talent and one of the best wrestlers on the roster. I'm still holding out the dream of a Ziggler vs Rollins vs Bryan 60 minute iron man match.

Let's be honest the only reason people pay attention to this storyline is for PIMP Rusev

If we're being serious, Dolph has peaked.
He's a two time WHC and he still isn't a draw.
Is Dolph Ziggler the reason anyone on here watches WWE?
