the comparisons of Ziggler & Mr. Perfect are pretty close. a guy who has all the talent in the world, who never was able to break the ceiling because simply put, the company never gave a . maybe Ziggler brought some things on himself, rumors are he had a little attitude behind the scenes, maybe they just realized that no one is NOT going to shows because Ziggler isn't world champ. he's had a pretty good career overall, and went from being a male cheerleader to a, albeit brief, world championship reign. he might not end up as a hall of famer, but he made a name for himself and managed to avoid major injury. i'd say he did well for himself. and he's still got time. however they desperately need to let this guy be himself. he's being watered down to melted vanilla ice cream and its SOOOOO obvious.

Remember how on fire he was when he cashed in? Then Del Rio injured him and WWE had their excuse to kill his push. The only reason he isn't in the main event is because Vince and Kevin don't want him there. They'd rather Cena vs Orton for the 5,000th boring time.

Jack Swagger injured Dolph Ziggler And I also feel that Dolph Ziggler isn't in the main event picture because he doesn't = money. To be fair, neither does Orton so maybe I dunno what I'm talking about.

This whole feud is dumb.
Both men deserve better than a love storyline.

I just want the guy to get a singles match at Mania.
There are lots of extremely stupid comments being made in this thread. I can't wait for this feud to be over.

Dolph's one of my favorites. Occasionally the WWE will throw something his way (being the sole Survivor at last year's Survivor Series, MitB) but for the most part things have felt wrong for a while. Once he cashed in against Del Rio, it really felt like things were starting to turn around. The IWC (myself included) often blame WWE's booking, but more and more of me is staring to blame Ziggler himself. It really sucks that he's now in the same boat as Daniel Bryan. Both are two guys who's ceiling in the WWE is now the IC title. I keep hoping that he'll get a 2008 Jericho-esqe run, but I don't know if he'll get that. It looks unlikely with guys like Rollins, Ambrose, Regins, Cesaro, Owens, and potentially Ryback seemingly in front of him. Those chances will also diminish even more when Neville, Balor, Zayn, Itami, Crews, and (maybe) Crowe get to the main event scene. I think Dolph needs to chill in the mid-card and try to blow past people explanations, while the IWC stops fantasy booking and getting our collective hopes up. Dude just signed a long deal with WWE, hopefully he'll get a solid run where he can show a "I don't give a what YOU think, I'm the best guy here" attitude". If not, it'll become an interesting case of the "What ifs".

Watching Smackdown now. Man, he's an awful talker. Possibly the worst promo guy to have ever won the World title, with the possible exception of Khali.

The funny thing is, I've never heard anyone call Ziggler a show-stealer other than Ziggler. Outside of that one Survivor Series, I don't think he has ever stolen any show... I'd say he and Bryan did at Bragging Rights 2010 and he and Harper did at TLC 2014. That's all I can think of though. The RAW after Wrestlemania when he won the world heavyweight title

I think he need's to turn heel and have a manager like Vickie again. Lana seems to be wanting to steal Ziggler's spotlight which isn't good for his career at all. If he continues as a babyface his career will end up going nowhere and he will be released in two years or maybe earlier.

Dick Hutton, Stan Stasiak, & Ronny Garvin thank you for those kind words. Lqtm Seriously though, he doesn't work as a boyscout, Clark Kent babyface. He's a bad boy. He's New Generation Shawn Michaels all over again. He's better than he'll ever get credit for, & honestly could have been one of the wrestlers to re-legitimize the Intercontinental title, but you can't make strides in Congress when the house doesn't belong to your party.

He's not going to go anywhere - he's in the exact position someone of his talent level should be - that being the mid-card. He's not cut out to be a main-eventer/headliner. Some people are, some aren't - and he's not - that's just the way it is.

I wouldn't care if Dolph Ziggler was released. He is extremely boring.

The problem is when you tell people that you are going to "steal the show" it heightens their expectations. He's been the "show stealer" of a couple of RAWs I've gone to in the past year but again the show stealer thing as a gimmick is completely asinine. He should want to win matches not steal the show.

But in all seriousness, he'll never get any hotter than the night he cashed in. Been straight downhill from there

Goldberg and Steiner were way, way better. Tons more authority, and far more entertaining. That's the problem with Dolph's talking... It's not so bad it's good the way some of Steiner's insane ramblings were, it's just so bad it's bad.

Seriously though, he doesn't work as a boyscout, Clark Kent babyface. He's a bad boy. He's New Generation Shawn Michaels all over again. It's ridiculous to consider him in the same breath as any era Shawn Michaels. Dolph Ziggler is no kind of bad boy. When he was a heel, he couldn't work a crowd to save his life. He just worked for praise on forums, not for the boos of the audience. He's fine as a white-meat midcard babyface, but he's entirely useless in any other position on the card.
