In a recent interview with Swedish press, the interviewer asked Slash about the recent rumor of him and Axl Rose coming to terms after 20 years. Anybody else find this really interesting? I'm a huge GNR fan and personally, this is a mixed tophat for me. The band is down two lead guitarists, and Slash obviously had a huge role in GNR before his departure. But a potential reunion between Axl and Slash does make me question the future of the Chinese Democracy songs being played live, and any future releases of post-Slash recorded material. If thats true then its about time. I thought it would have happened at the Hall Of Fame ceremony back in 2012 though.
After losing two guitarists in such a short time, Slash was really the only option and I am 100% for it. I doubt he'd say no to the Chinese Democracy songs seeing as Duff played them during his occasional appearances. I'd love it even more if Axl were to play a couple of songs from Slash' albums with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators as well.

Would absolutely love to see Guns N Roses with both Axl and Slash performing. Really is a dream of mine.

I won't believe it until I see it. And even then, I'd still be skeptical as to whether it's actually happening. Granted, the signs have been there this year.
Obviously, it would be amazing to see the AFD/UYI lineup together again. IF it does come to fruition, I'd absolutely love to see how Slash would handle something like SOD, IRS, and Chinese.
The only thing I pray for, is that if it happens, Axl actually takes it seriously and prepares. Seeing him get back to 2006/2010 shape would be mind boggling. Judging by Vegas last year, he is still capable of pulling it out. But if he came out singing like last year's SA tour... yikes.

I have complete faith that Axl would nail it.
Edit: That came out kinda creepy. Oh well.

If they ever reunite... I will weep like baby. Tears of non-stop joy.

I feel like this is 10-12 years too late but I'm excited nonetheless.

There won't be a reunion soon. And Slash would be a fool if he did a reunion instead of continuing with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. They created the best Hard Rock band out there at the moment and are doing well. I doubt Slash is such a sell out that he would give that up for the money and publicity of a GnR reunion.

Slash is enough of a sell-out to perform Sweet Child with Fergie whilst wearing a ing bedazzled top hat. I'm not going to crap on anybody involved, regardless of personal preference. But both Axl and Slash have done some questionable things the past 20 years.

Slash doing a GN'R reunion wouldn't be "selling out", because if it happens, the main purpose of it won't be for money. Slash has said multiple times over the years that he was open to a reunion... he's not the person that's been closed off to the idea.

I don't see this leading to a full reunion any time soon. But if it ever does happen I'll be there.

I wild love to see a reunion but I'd take new music over that.
But I actually think it can happen now.

At the very least, he seems to still want to get the second-half of Chinese out. Right now, everything seems to be pointing to CDII getting dropped next year. Or, you know... in 2025.

Nothing points to a new album. If Fernando has news in 2 months, great. I'll believe him. But if it's about a new web store? There's nothing coming out.

But, things point more towards that than a reunion happening next year (or even within the next three years), IMO. Then again, Axl may just pickup a couple new guitarists (and perhaps a new bassist), and treat us to another Vegas residency. I do think something will be going on with the band in 2016, though. I don't doubt that Axl probably wants to dump CDII, if only to rid himself of it. A new Slash album is definitely happening, which means he'll likely be touring with Myles again.

It's his song and he can do whatever the he wants with it. There won't be a reunion soon. And Slash would be a fool if he did a reunion instead of continuing with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Or maybe he would simply be doing it because he wants to share the stage with some of his best friends again, in one of the greatest Hard Rock bands of all-time. And why exactly does he have to give up playing with Myles? Is there some reason he can't do both? Nikki Sixx is in the middle of touring with Motley, but that hasn't stopped him from working with Sixx AM, too... Even if they were to do a reunion tour any time within the next 5 years, it's not like they're going to be embarking on another UYI tour.
