Love Sting. But he does NOT need to win. Rollins losing to Sting could be devestating.

I disagree that losing to Sting would hurt Rollins. It wouldn't happen clean, and it would likely lead to Sheamus cashing in immediately.
I don't think Seth can be much more hurt at this point, he's barely had a clean win throughout his title reign. Nobody is under the illusion that he could be dangerous, due to being booked to sneak every victory he's had. So to be beat by Sting, only to recapture the title before the end of the year, might actually revitalise Seth Rollins as Champion.
Let's face it, part timers have been used to increase the status of the WWE Title for years now. Seths poorly booked title reign is undoing all the hard work (or in the eyes of some fans, patience) that we invested into Brocks dominate reign as Champion. A brief run with Sting as champion would do a lot more for the title right now than a brief run with Cena/Orton etc. which is basically the only logical alternative to having "old retired Sting" topple super heel Rollins.
Plus if you ask me, age aside, if youve never wanted to see Sting finally lift the WWE Championship before he bows out, you're just miserable and youre watching wrestling for all the wrong reasons. Stick to your "Young Bucks".

If I thought the Wwe was actually going to run with sting as champ, I'd be OK with him ending Seth's reign But it would just be a sympathy run like they did with rock over punk a few years back....no thanks. Although the scenario of sting winning, and sheamus cashing in turning Seth face and sheamus authority new guy I kinda like. Agreed!!! Sheamus & Barrett should have been in The Authority since after WM IMO.

I still like the occasional clean win from a heel. It makes them look like a real threat. Whilst I understand what you mean, how much of a credible threat could Rollins be when he needed the help of the likes of Noble & Mercury? Now I know Rollins is one hell of a wrestler but the most he ever looked like a badass during his WWE run (excluding NXT) was when he was a part of The Shield. Truthfully, I find him fine as he is and still to this day, the most entertaining member who was a part of The Shield. I feel like his match with Cena this past Sunday made him. That was one hell of a performance. He looked like he COULD have beat Cena without Jon's help.

I haven't really enjoyed Seth as Champion until the build to SummerSlam. The reason is he went from heel who threatened to kill someone to get what he wanted to barely being able to get a victory without the help of three guys who can barely get a win themselves. I said earlier I would like a Sting reign, it could be fun, it'd be new, we may even get a Vince/Sting confrontation about why Sting never came to WWE, how he was only a champion for a organisation where Vince made every performer kiss his ass just to get a shot at the big WWE. I'd love to see Sting as Champion. Sting may be 56, but he moves like a 30 year old in the ring, just look at him on RAW.

Sting should win. Then beat sheamus when he tries to cash in and then drop it back to rollins

On the one hand, Rollins is the future and should be having a better reign that actually involves defending the belt cleanly.
On the other hand, it's Sting! seeing him as WWE champion would be amazing
I'm really good with either outcome. Though maybe it's time to end Rollins reign for now, then work to make his second one better.

Unless the storm causes RAW to be postponed, WWE has confirmed that Sting will be live on RAW on Monday.

I'd be OK with a short reign for Sting just like Hogan got in 02, they can do it without hurting Rollins. I've wanted to see Sting with that title since my Hasbro/galoob days lol.

Literally cannot stop laughing at your sig. i know right It wouldn't surprise me if Brock was legitimately corpsing. Imagine being inches away from The Undertaker doing that for the first time in any of our lives? I'd have been crying.

What made Sting the number one contender? He lost the only match he's had in the WWE.

I'm shaking my head at all of you guys who want a SENIOR CITIZEN to have the WWE title. A man who is 46 should be nowhere near the title, let alone 56.

Whether Sting wins or loses, I hope he will at least be booked to look strong.

I'm definitely seeing a Sting victory on the horizon, and I'm all for it. He'll only hold it for a month or two at most, so it's nothing major.
It's very reminiscent of Hulk Hogan's 2002 return, in my opinion. Made the return at WrestleMania, lost the match, returned for one final shot at the title and won to give him one last World title run. Obviously this would be Sting's first and last, but it's the same premise. I'm pulling for Sting at Night of Champions.
