Hey guys, quick question. Is there any real difference in quality between Tamiya hobby spray paints and just plain old Krylon? I am working on a custom that I intend to spray mostly white but have had mixed results with normal spray paint. Thanks in advance. My thoughts, DON'T USE KRYLON!!!! I have never had success with any formula of Krylon. It always makes stuff sticky no matter what kind I've used except for one clear coat they have which I use religiously. I've even used gray basecoat of testors on stuff, sprayed krylon and it still comes out sticky AF. I would be more inclined to try Tamiya because it's made for stuff like this but I would try it on some scrap pieces or a figure you don't care about screwing up. Yeah, that's been pretty much my experience. Thanks for the tip.

LOL thanks for the warm welcome back, gentlemen! I have seen some fine flawless erections of custom work in my day. I couldn't help but to reset my forgotten password in order to respond to that Sean O'Haire custom- an erection of utterly flawless magnitude, indeed! As for the rest of you: the bar had been set for flawless fix-ups long ago- and I am proud to see some of the epic erections achieved since then. It takes quite the level of talent, passion, determination, and skill required to amass a flawless erection- and, my goodness- the amount of custom work I was unable to compliment due to my loss of login information would be difficult and rather superfluous to revive and award with a "flawless erection" stamp of approval at this point. Bandy, Chargrove, and the rest of you know who you are... and the custom works you continue to put together have only served to get better over time. Frankly, your erections seem to keep growing better with each custom posted. It often appears we've achieved "Flawless Erection Overload"- then, just when you think it can't possibly continue to get better, and the level of greatness must soon be shrinking down- one of you comes in and slaps us with an even greater masterpiece! In all seriousness- I sincerely appreciate the welcome back, again. Thanks, guys! However, I never left. This thread has been open in the browser of every phone I've had since its original inception. The works of art often posted within the confines of this thread are purely inspirational. Thank you to all the usual suspects for posting your amazing work- this time I saved my login information permanently- meaning: anytime one of you decides to swing another erection of glorious proportions around here for comment & criticism, I will gladly be here to hand-out verbal awards to those of you that put hours of work & great detail into your artwork. Customizing has been a hobby of mine since the age of 12, and I never could've dreamed the game would reach the incredible heights of flawlessly detailed, glorious erections achieved today by some of this board's most talented customizers and fix-up erectors. Keep doing what you do best, guys! Thanks again, and I'll be around

Does anyone know if the elite bulldog torso or the sheamus torso will fit on the elite beefcake body? I love the beefcake figures but i hate that they gave him the massive hogan torso. Especially the WM9 beefcake!! He's gonna look gigantic compared to that the HOF2 Hulk!!

I don't know about any of the other new style basics, but Rich Swann has elite pegs for his boots. I figured this could help with swaps and stuff if you want to swap the boots from a new basic onto an elite.

Any ideas for Chuck Taylor head? Closest thing I can think of would be a DiBiase Jr head.

Ideas for a Steve Corino head? I'm thinking basic 54 Ziggler. Pick for reference. Also, best place to get decals?

So I think I might do my first elite custom cause I know Mattel will probably never do a figure of him. So I have a couple questions
1. Do you guys think a d-von head would work good for new jack? (If anybody has Any better suggestions they would be much appreciated)
2. What would the best place to get custom decals for his tattoos? 3. What torso has the same skin tone as d-von with a yield that’d fit new jack?[if there are any] 4. How should I go about sculpting the singlet top?
Thansk guys

c-scope - one option for skin tone would be find a singlet torso in the size you want, d-von Head, and some Citadel mournfang brown as your paint/skin tone. Curb Stomp City for the decals.
