Hey guys!! Sorry for posting so much I’ve just been addicted to painting recently!! Work is getting better and better as time goes on. I’ve decided to open up commission if anybody is interested. Here is my latest work in progress. Rob Van Dam!! Detail wise the singlet looks really good. But it does look like the paint is thick. Especially judging by the waist and thigh cuts. It looks like it’s very thick over those parts articulation seems. Thick that if you go to turn those joints the paint will chip away.

PJ alright thank you man. Does anyone have any tips for creating thinner coats of paint? Depending on the paint you use dilute the paint more with water or thinner and do multiple lighter coats letting it dry between coats until you get it to how you like it. But try to keep the joints area clean of paint getting in the seams. Your best bet would be taking the parts apart and painting and sealing them separately. But if you don’t want to take them apart. When you are painting you base coats twist the waist and upper thighs so they aren’t aligned. This way when the paint dries and you turn them back you won’t have paint that is cracking/splitting in the seams.

Anyone know the deal around a Steiner? I'm using a tatanka as a base, I swapped the lower legs with a Rhyno. Now, he's like 5'10 which makes him short.. Need to boost up his height without swapping the calves. Any ideas?

@jbone I had Rusev as a original base too. Upon looking at other figures of his scale I thought he was slightly out of scale. Like next to Goldberg, Sid , Nash and the rest.

Here is my simple Hercules Hernandez fix-up. I left the lightning bolts on the side of the trunks as I thought they looked cool (not ring accurate, though).

Need to boost up his height without swapping the calves. Any ideas? I used an Ultimate Maniacs Warrior as my earl Scott Steiner with a Tatanka head and some tall boots. Made him stand a bit taller then the Neidhart base I made Rick out of. Maybe use the Tatanka upper, and the legs/hips off a singlet Warrior(cheap to find)...
