I mean, it's more expensive, but I've had the same roll for years and it works great. Especially when it comes to fixing loose wrist joints! What uh, what happened to the thread title?

Thread was moved, title was changed, and the first post with all the guides and such was deleted. What's going on?

Sorry for all the confusion. I moved it back after I had learned of there being little to no reason given for the change years ago. Just that it was done to prevent clutter on the Mattel board. I thought it might serve a better purpose here rather than occupy a sticky over there. It also seemed like a more natural fit and one which might attract more eyes to/draw more inspiration from the many great customizers here. The title of the thread should return to normal soon. If anyone has any concerns over the change, please reach out to me via PM as I would very much like to get your input. Thanks.

If i remember correctly it moved originally because a lot of the customizes felt that head swaps and other basic changes didn't deserve to be on the custom board and it caused alot of arguments, so someone moved it to the Mattel board, which i didn't mind cause it meant less clicks for me, i just hope where ever it is, people are accepting of each other and don't cause issues of it like what happened in the past.

I don't mind it being here. I just foresee a handful of people creating threads and posting their fix ups on the Mattel board and use the excuse that they did it because no one is in the customs board.

You just made your job harder because theres going to be a lot more "look what I did" type posts in the Mattel thread now. RIP Fix up thread.

Why not just make another fix up thread on the Mattel board and strongly prohibit customs from being posted? That way the people who fix up a fig can show off, and the customizers can have more traffic on their board again?

The customs board died because a group got together and started harassing people who didn't put enough paint on their customs. So the thread gets moved to the Mattel board, where EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! became a "Fix-Up"... So, saying that customs board died because nobody cared is gaslighting. The customs board died because the thread was moved to the Mattel board.

So the thread gets moved to the Mattel board, where EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! became a "Fix-Up"... So, saying that customs board died because nobody cared is gaslighting. The customs board died because the thread was moved to the Mattel board. Nothing ever Got Moved anywhere. The fix up thread started in the Mattel board and was there for talented customizers and also people who just swapped an accessorie to show off what they could do with Mattel figures. Not jakks, not hasbro and not ljn but just Mattel and thats what really set it apart from the customs board You keep saying to me in pms and here that it was moved. I started the thread in the Mattel board, It never moved anywhere until now And for anyone wondering why the title and first page was removed , this quote below will answer that question. I already asked Chicago to put the name of the thread back up, i cant access it anymore. I was just trying to take my name off the Fixup thread but ended up messing it up. I apologize for any confusion it caused To be fair, the only ones of us whining were the ones who were here before you guys killed the customs board. I know that even though people myself and Triple S were fans of the move back to the custom board, we certainly didn't send out curse filled PMs (like Apoc did to me), lose sleep, take our ball and go home, ect. I mean, I might've brought it up twice a year for the last 4 years, but I certainly didn't constantly PM MODs or other users harassing them. And as long as Tommycoholic posts in the Customs board, there'll always be a faint pulse over there. I was staying out of this , You are the one who messaged me to Gloat and brag about how you got the Fix up board moved for whatever strange reason, when was the last time i even posted there? I was the one who told you not to message me, and i never sent you curse filled messages. this proves how much of a loser you are man, you need to get a life. Leave me out of your drama If anyones wondering why the first post/thread title was deleted, its because i was trying to take my name off the fix up thread so Hitman bono would finally stop harrassing me over the years about where the fix up thread "belongs"

@zombieapocalypse
I would reinstate the title if I could, but I don't have access to those functions either.

Easy fix up using accessories from an extra HOF Macho King

Fighter HayabusaIt's too bad Basics don't come with signature accessories, because something as simple as that really does enhance the figure. This might even sell me on it since I'm not currently displaying my HOF3 Savage.

I guess it stands out more to me since I missed on the RSC Macho King Exclusive. I'd be curious to see how those accessories look on the new Basic Savage.

Now we have to come to this baron wasteland to see the fixups? I feel like I just went from meeting my high class drug dealer (ibuprofen of course) in a fancy establishment that has a 5 star rating on Yelp to meeting with post cancer grizzly Walter White working on a corner wearing tighty whitees and a fanny pack..

Does anyone know if Vallejo's glossy varnish (the airbrush kind) works as a brush on?
