Good for you, myself, I'm not sure I wanna open mine to give Sting that belt, just gave him and DDP one of the many Ziggler comes with instead... Why not just use a regular Big Gold Belt, take a black marker, and customize it yourself?? I tried that back in the Jakks days...doesn't looks so good.

I'm glad someone made a thread free of bashing.
I think they go a great job in the VAST majority of figs. I think that's a fantastic percentage for a toy company bound to a board of directors and a bottom line.
Most of the little error things are in the basics, which I rarely buy. I'm glad Bill fights to keep articulation for Basics.
I think MDT killed the e38 DB headscan. Also, I'm getting used to the plastic shirts (ie Miz's coat, Matadores coats). They are doing new, creative things.
Keep killing it!

I have my collection up and it's really cool seeing all the various eras reflected now from the Golden Age of Hulkamania, the NWA, New Generation, Monday Night Wars, etc. As always, I want more, but it's a thrill seeing these together on my shelves.

Most of the flashbacks I have are flawless, aside from some nitpicks. If I had to choose one, it'd be Sting. They nailed every little detail.

I should've realized Mattel is where I should've started after my first Macho 23 fig but instead collected Jakks for a year before making my switch and am very glad for switching, just not so late...

I'm thankful that Mattel listens.... It means a lot. I'm thankful that Bill is my age and likes wrestling. My top ten from last year has been completely obliterated. Im guilty of complaining too. Finding out about Sid and the flashback heavy e39 positively changes my entire outlook on 2015. Thank you mdt Yeah, I've noticed a lot of the figures we've asked for have come to fruition. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I remember a Sid thread months ago, and now Sid is in Elite 39. Sid is definitely without a doubt my biggest want since I've been collecting Mattel...

All I complain about is out dated Diva Attires, using excuses like A.J's necklace as an accessory and the lack of past divas like Lita, Stacy & VICTORIA! However, I love Mattel and I'll say thanks for all the divas they've produced!

Mattel do a great job, yeah they could do better but no one does anything perfectly. They get pretty close at times, though.

Why not just use a regular Big Gold Belt, take a black marker, and customize it yourself?? I tried that back in the Jakks days...doesn't looks so good. I did it with the Jakks Big Gold Belts, and in my opinion, it looks better than what they did. I thought the letters NWO looked too small and kind of crooked on the Jakks version. I used a black sharpie. Why not just use a regular Big Gold Belt, take a black marker, and customize it yourself?? I've thought about it but I'm not one for customizing the figures or accessories, I'll just let them be as they came... Think about it like this. All Hollywood Hulk Hogan did was spray paint a Big Gold Belt. I thought the letters NWO looked too big and kind off too much on the Mattel version. I havenβt customized a Mattel Big Gold Belt just yet, but I do have one ready to for βgraffitiβ.

And as you stated for the Mattel version, it's the opposite because it covers from top to the bottom but hey, I have a few, so I could attempt a little something...

My favorite figure of 2015 so far is the RSC HBK exclusive. The Godfather or SID might just top that one, though.

Mattel does a lot of things right. I criticize them a lot when I think they make avoidable mistakes. However, 80% of the experience has been impressive.
Highlights (in no particular order)
1. For making a more realistic wrestling figure than has ever been produced.
2. Providing the collectors with wrestlers that have been unattainable through other companies. The fact that we have gotten Macho Man, Sting, and the von Erichs makes this run a success.
3. For making the figures easily obtainable. For the most part, I've been able to obtain every figure I've ever wanted in a normal retail store.
4. For the most part, paying attention to details that put the figures over the top.
5. For making figures that are reasonably durable and don't wear out over time.
6. For revisiting hard to find figures for those who missed the character on the first go around.
7. For improving the headscans with each passing year. The figures have gotten better over time.
Bill and Mattel, thank you for providing a quality product that has brought us a great amount of happiness.

I love Mattel. I hope WWE and Mattel can work out another 5 year contract and we can get more figures until 2025!

I love my Mattel collection. It's part of who I am and I have no desire to stop anytime soon.
If I had to thank Bill for one thing in particular.... It would be having Savage, Elizabeth, Hogan, Steamboat, Sting, Von Erichs, Hall, Sid, Punk, Hart and many many others all under the same Mattel umbrella. I never thought we'd see the day we'd have them all together.
