I bought Bossman about a month ago on the Bay but I wouldn't mine getting another one and let the old one be a display model. I would have preferred an Attitude Era Bossman instead of a straight up 80s/90s rerelease. Still, it's a good figure.

It looks exactly the same to me. I'm glad they're re-releasing it because I get to save money now. Mattel can re-release all they want. If I already have it, I'll gladly save 20 bucks, because I know it's just going to go towards some other figure.

The elite boss man was a great figure ruined by the head sculpt. Now it might've been the paint job on the head so I'm gonna give this one another shot.
I still have e14 but it's at the bottom of the pile

It isn't as if we aren't getting any NEW figures. I'm totally cool with the re-releases so long as we have plenty of spots for originals, which as of now we have (HOF, elite two pack, HOF box set, RSC exclusives, elite flashbacks, etc.)

I've already got the elite 14 one so I'll be passing on this. It wouldn't have hurt mattel to release a 1998 Bossman instead.

From the pics it looks the same. Which is fine by me as it is one less figure I need to buy while being a second chance for something that others might have missed out on.

I haven't pulled out my Bossman figure to compare it to the pics of the new figure, but the face looked different, according to my possibly faulty memory. Maybe more "full" as he was quite heavy as the evil Big Bossman coming out of his original Big Bubba Rogers gimmick. He lost weight as a face, and that's how I see his original Mattel figure.

I still got my Elite 14. This is an easy pass for me.

im just not a fan of re-releasing figures like this....depending on how the figure contracts work.
lets say for example Mattel has the rights to produce two figures of Big Bossman (I'm not saying they DO, it's just an example) this counts as two figures thus we are missing out on getting a proper Attitude Era Corporate Bossman so this is a complete WASTE of a spot. Now if this isn't the case, fine.....but with any re-releases what are the chances those are taking a space that something else better could have been.
And with something as good as a Flashback, why re-release it instead of taking the chance to EXPAND the overall line. I'm pretty sure in the entire run of Jakks Classic Superstars Series we never got a single re-release until the very end when Jakks was completely mailing it in and did those random current/classic 2 packs they re-did S3 DiBiase, even in THAT series the Bob Orton they did had a different color vest and sock stripes compared to his CS8 figure
It just seems like a weird move, to put out the exact same figure to the T all over again, and don't tell me "eye pupils" are an acceptable difference, the new Defining Moments Undertaker is a re-release. This new Bossman is even worse because it's literally the exact same figure as E14. I'm sure people will buy it, so whatever...but as a collector I just don't get the move to re-release it.

I probably won't get it as I have two of the original, but they know there are plenty who didn't get the original and want one so why not rerelease it? It'll sell and everyone except the scalpers will be happy so it's a win win.

Corporation bossman would've been a better choice, especially with the new defining moment undertaker that just release. Could've remastered their wm15 match, minus the hanging.

The better question is about this new tru wwe network spotlight series. When does it come out? All three figures at once or one at a time? when will the next series be planned?
Perhaps the plan is to have one be a straight rerelease every series. Maybe this series was thrown together last minute.
The ringside Q&A had no questions based off what we just saw and now bill doesn't post so how the hell are we supposed to know anything?!?!

I sold my E14 Bossman, so I'm excited for this rerelease. Looks to be the same version. How much you get? I might do the same lol. . Sold mine for $80 MOC 2 years ago. Glad Mattel is doing this!

One would assume the packaging would be different thus making the original release unique in its moc state. I think resellers are obviously upset. Just goes to show them. I think straight rerelease of something that was" exclusive" is a bad move though.
